I haven't checked on this game for a while. I remember it being huge. An old version I still have on my harddrive (CH4) is already nearly 4 GiB big, so I wondered why this final version is smaller.
So I extracted all the images for both versions. Both seem to contain only lossless .png-Images, but they differ in size. Comparing both I find out that the final version files are JPEGs that are named .png, propably just so the code can remain the same.

Well, makes sense, but what I find truly amazing: The JPEG's compression is absolutely transparent, meaning I cannot find one different pixel. I don't know which program the dev used to resize his images (in kB, not in dimensions) but I'd really like to know!

Thanks anyway for resizing the game without losing any quality!

As an unrelated side note, I had an instant connection. I too loved seeing the sea otter toss baskets for the win, from the Morro Bay Aquarium.
