And that's when you regret having called your character "Sweetypoo Massiveshlong the third"
I still prefer Gawd Damnit.
I spied on my sister in the shower, and she saw me being a creep so she came to my room and gave me a blowie!

or...

My mom saw my morning wood, so she took me to a motel and raped had sex of a questionable level of consent with me!

or...

My new coworker would lose her job if I told everyone what she did, so I blackmailed her, and after extorting a blowjob and sex she's fallen in love with me and wants to have my babies!

or ...

If I polish the solar panels every day for a month my mother, sister, aunt, random woman cyborg, and probably every woman on Earth will want to have sex with me!

Like those? ;)
Woo, tropes galore!

I haven't played that solar panels one in a while... XD

Okay, i don't wish to take sides in this one but what i have to say is that from a realistic point of view.. that was creepy as hell and not in an exciting way. Or i think i should make a point with a series of questions:

Every crewmember has a role. An important role. Losing one will be noticed, there are reports that have to be made. This is an official military mission no?
So how do you think it would look like? Sorry, flightcontrol, sorry high command but i killed the dude because he was touching my friend inappropriately? This is a court marshal level case. You'd have to explain why you exactly chosed to actually KILL a fellow officer. Killed him because he was a douche and made unwanted advances? Let me tell you, this is life sentence in the most forgiving democracies. Death penalty in anything else.
What i think would happen is they cover the whole thing up -> Creepy as fuck and shows that they are like mercenaries and a pretty unreliable bunch with complete disregard to doctrines, hierarchy, military law and protocol. A military crewmember can NOT kill a molesting member because that offends her sense of gender equality. Especially not an officer. Detention. Disciplinary action. Demotion. Killing without court trial? Nope.

It only sounds cool if you view it from spectator point of view, otherwise its very disturbing. I'd NOT want such a crew and in place of High command i would never allow such a crew to assemble and lead any kind of mission that has even the slightest of importance.. especially not one that gets out of high commands reach. They could go rogue. So this is basically a huge fault and oversight on high commands part and this is a ticking bomb.

This can actually deliberately so.. if they didn't tell that this is a suicide mission in truth. But otherwise.. this whole killing thing is absurd. Its more like the chief there snapped and went insane. Which in turn shows that she is indeed a psycho and psychologic evaluation of her failed miserably. Its one thing that they consider themselves a female-only little amazon den but its still the military and not their little ship-kingdom.

Normally i don't care but i disagree wholeheartedly that killing the dude was the right thing to do.. it was everything but right.

Not going to get into the game writing part of it, but that's an overly clean view of the military, and democracies, sadly.

There's stand your ground and Castle Doctrines that basically allow lethal force for percieved dangers (none of the let them draw first and certainly not shoot first). Like the kids getting shot at for trespassing while playing Pokemon Go.

For military, pretty much depends now active it is, and professional. If you're in a war, way more open. Much easier to train some people with a certain flexibility in their moral values, than to take a socially solid person and get them to be killers. And just the strain of combat can do that (or any disaster), the famous quote civilization is a thin veil over our savage.
One of my favorite parts from Grosse Pointe Blank

There was a chilling memoir moment about a couple of grunts after a hard few days of city fighting after D Day. Some fresh officer (from the rear) comes and talks to them being condesending by mentioned he heard they had a 'bit of a tough go at it' (something to that effect) while asking directions. So they gave him a route that they knew was covered by a German sniper. That's before the whole Vietnam fragging thing and other stuff. Ken Burns Doc on it, *shudders*. Life can be cheap.

Now that's not saying it's like that in the game, difference circumstances and more direct. But if quoting RL lets bring in the dirt also.

And where is written that Annie must be a good person?. She may be a psycho

I think it is not a proporcional response, by the way... It does not need to be, life is unfair.
Mean Annie. Bad, bad girl.

First and foremost, Notty has stated several times that the "bad ending" exists to prove the point that your choices have ramifications...i.e. if you're gonna be a dick, you'd better be a smart dick. She also put it in Chapter 1 to ensure fair warning early on, so those who "choose wrong" don't lose hours and hours of gameplay.

That said, fratricide isn't a movie fantasy, it's very much a real fact of war. The smaller the unit, the tighter they are and more likely to use excessive force to deal with a perceived threat to their members. In space, with no witnesses...yeah, clearly malfunctioning boots while the LT was on an unscheduled spacewalk and they were unable to reclaim his body due to systems' failures.

Just a hint, this error appears when you're making the wrong choices... (not in a moral way, you're just not making the best choices to see the right scene)
The "stop the fucking shit you are doing you are doing it wrong" button.
If it's any consolation, you're not really missing anything in this case, it's just the effect wearing off. Try some other options if you haven't already. ;)
Maybe i'll play it tomorrow again and make different choices but for now i turned it off. ;)
