confirmed

I wonder again and again how stupid the developers are to not get the downward compatibility right. It's so very simple to do. You merely need to define and give values to all newly-introduced variables.
As @Avaron1974 stated, a large chunk (if not vast majority) aren't qualified video game developers/programmers with a fully-fledged college degree. These junior devs only consume basic knowledge required to make basic scene with basic bending/sitting, etc. positions, before moving into recompiling codes and layering up glitches. Quite a sufficient reason nobody should take these concepts as a genuie product and rather judge it as trial and error attempt till the devs step up their skillset. Obviously, there are plenty of qualified, but tedious developers with capability of building an custom engine from scratch. When their games fall short, it's due to cash milking than lacklusting experience.

actually make old save compatible with new update is not that easy in some ways.
its easy if you did your script well and not forget anything. or if no specific values/script have ben modified in the new udpate. but...

i take exempl, if you forget to add , or didnt planned at base, to make a choices to have effect in futur update. your stuck. fixing this is only possibe by breaking old save.
reason is, you can't add a script or allowing to change variable. because you cant decide for the player.
wich choice the player have made before ? you cant know that before doing the update, soo you'r stuck and variable is stuck too. unless, like i say, you force the player to a choice that is not necessary his own choice. all you can do is to give the player another try to make the exact same choice or asking him wich choice he made before.
or you break the old save.

downward compatibility is not something that you can do by moving a finger. its more complex.

but yeah sure... if its that easy, then you welcome to make a patch by yourself and fixing stuff. without asking players wich choices they made before and something that is compatible with every players choices. good luck with that. XD

Sigh...

Haven't logged in for a few months and it doesn't surprise me to see another Slonique game pop here and some of her/his other games "completed" (frankly.. they were abandoned - let's be real here).

Slonique's gotta be the most interesting and intriguing developer I've ever seen.

What I mean by that is:
1) How do they have patreons? What are their patreons expecting out of them? A game? A front seat to the shit show? Baffling.

2) What keeps Slonique going? I'm sure they've heard the criticisms and have to have some sense of self-awareness but for whatever reason they keep making games. What is it, passion? Pure masochism?

I mean most developers who make these games barely complete one game and disappear immediately after a little criticism but for whatever reason Slonique sticks around.

I don't know, tip of the hat to you I guess Slonique that you're still going at it.

This guy is getting $495 a month for what looks like a week's worth of work. Not bad better than working a week in a part time minimum wage job.

Doing push ups will build your energy. When you have about 150 energy it's worth it to do the photoshoots for the karma. IMO

Yeah. I had to spam push ups and reading a lot early on. Some of the scenes require like 40 Karma but it feels a lot easier now that photoshoots are available.

To do every Scene I needed allmost 70 Days - Thats a bit to Loooong for my understanding!
and the Photo shoots dosn´t work so fine I think.. U need 20 Karma to unlock some Shootings but U get only 15 karma points out of the 5 Photos..

It's been awhile so I may be misremembering. I thought you gained karma for repeating shoots. It is a grind and I usually hate that but since I could do it without having to leave the room and could just click away (push-ups and reading that is) it goes by fast and didn't bother me.
