I love Lab Rats 1 but this game is just a disappointment. Too grindy, pretty bad models, quite a few bugs (Mostly due to the complexity) and just overall boring. It's a shame that Vren isn't interested in listening to the players and changing things.

I mean, the gameplay loop is actually much more simple than people think... the company honestly runs itself once you have a profitable serum going and just tweaking it slowly from there essentially prevents you from losing, period, because there is no negative random events in this game. I've never had any trouble with money once I created a decently profitable serum purely for profit at 90% production and 10% of whatever fun serum I need.

Like 90% of the models in this "industry?" are just a dozen of preset models and clothes swapped around with almost no original creation at all. Why is this one "pretty bad"? lol.

Also, there is literally no feedback from the "players" that you speak of other than "make the same thing over again". How many more of "Press Work button -> Buy 100 SPOOKY UwU potion -> Sex" games do you need?

I may be misunderstanding your question, i mean if you master it down to 0% chance thats 0% chance of having a side effect in the final serum design?

You could, if you worry about the side effects, set their effects to 0 in \side_effects_traits.rpy im guessing.

Or maybe go into \serum_traits.rpy and edit base_side_effect_chance = 15 to 0.

Not sure how to do it ingame with console though...

I don't believe there is any way to "edit" existing designs within the game. You have to remove the design and research it again to roll the dice to see if you get any side-effects. (I might be wrong, feel free to correct me on this)

I really like the amount of control the game gives you. I just hate the lack of CGs/images for the actual sex scenes.. Kinda disappointing in my opinion

I created a serum like shown in the screenshot

My understanding is:

3+3=6 turns
+50 suggestability
+20 love
+15 sluttiness
+10-(6*2)= -2 obedience

Problem is, the obedience is dropping like a stone after use. So much, that i have a girl with 0 obedience now and don't know what to do there.

Any Idea?

Never use those - per turn ones, cause those are permanent per turn as stated, and +ve ones your using are temp values.
Example base = 50 Ob,
tick 1: 60 temp, 50 -2 base (Morning)
tick 2: 60 temp, 48-2 base (Afternoon)
tick 3: 60 temp, 46-2 base (Evening)
end of tick 44
it gets worse when u have multiple doses per day, i cant recall if temp values reflect drop during this process

90/10 is just lame

6 supply/6 production & Alexia on sales (with occasional help from MC) provides (and supports) easy 50/50 production.

It's not the grind that is killing me - it the progressive slowness of the game.

I've played this game multiple times now (Mostly due to saves not transferring between versions) and it is very grindy, especially for a porn game.

The models are just straight up bad, there's no two ways about it, I've played games here that weren't earning half as much on Patreon yet had much much better models, there's really no excuse.

Try reading this thread again without being biased, there are dozens of critiques about this game, there are even some on his Patreon.

There's also multiple people directly telling him that the character models are terrible and need reworking on his Patreon page, and even though they're kind of harsh, feedback is still feedback.

Read through the reviews of this game here on F95, there are lots of people saying the exact same things I am, grindy/ugly models. Originality is only good when it actually works, and it fails miserably here.

Can someone explain me what Nora wants?

I've already did 3 tests of Nora serum to open Tier2 (or Tier3) research. Then I was contacted by Nora for some Contractor work. I need to do something to get 2K. But I'm not sure what exactly I need to do.

So this is a little bit buggy I think.... When I first played this through on .2.0, the task was a little tricky because when she gives you the trait for the tier 2 unlock it's already in your "researched" traits (in the middle column on the set research screen)... but I couldn't find a new Nora trait in the "researched" column and though the quest was just bugged. Tried a bunch of things including selling off all the previous nora trait serums I had and deleting the serum design that used nora's trait 1 serum. It was after that I found Nora's trait in the UNresearched traits (column on the left in the set research screen).

So I had to research the skill first to be able to put it into a serum... the dumb thing about that being that it takes ~1000000 research points to unlock it. So what I had to do was go into the console, set my research skill level to 1000000 and researched it to unlock it, then went back into the console and set it back to what it was before.

On version 2.1, I went through again and nora's 2nd trait came in already researched... but there's a 2nd and 3rd iteration she does and on the 2nd iteration I had the bug again... so you're probably going to have to use the console to workaround the bug if nora's trait is indeed in the Unresearched column... or if you are insane you could hire a shit ton of researchers and manually research that thing over to the middle column so you can put it in a serum.

To dose somebody - you need to create serum, which in advance requires already researched trait. If you don't have it researched in first place - all the chain is impossible.
