This is an amazing game created by one of the best modders from loverslab it keeps getting better with every update but one thing that never actually changed throughout the years is the map interface, having to click your way through the cluster of superposed map buildings to take any action is a chore and totally brings down the whole experience, I think that whole system needs a rework even on the expense of realism the game tries to deliver, see I don't think the game needs the actual real life map of london or any real life city to be great and enjoyable.
EDIT : just to make my feedback more constructive because the game really deserves it, I think that rework should be starting from scratch and exporting the game mechanisms into making the game something like a 3rd person sandbox something like an indie GTA making use of unreal engine capabilities, that would launch the game light years further into broader audience. that's more ambitious and enjoyable than having to click through a blueprint map of london.

That excludes 7 hours in my example. 6 instead of 0 and 23 instead of 24
There are plenty of ways to edit meet_random_person.lpscene to meet your preferences and desires.
Yeah i noticed it and edited my mistake my dyslexia got the better of me. It still really doesn't solve the issue because not everyone sleeps at those times. Hence the suggested removing the House location from the where for meet_random. It would be nicer if you could exclude an action instead but i don't think we currently have support for that.

I think having RL cities makes it better. You don't have to go to buildings, you can click the magnifying glass icon in the upper left, choose the sort of place, then pick one from what's there. You can also favorite buildings to make it even easier for anywhere you go often.

I'm afraid that is completely unrealistic for one person working part-time on the game. Not gonna happen.
Unreal Engine is not a magic button, it's nothing more than a framework- the dev still does all the work
I'm still looking into ways to make the maps look nicer but I have zero interest in starting from scratch and making this a completely different game.

FIRST BETA VERSION OF: The New GoodBye (Dating Improvements)

THIS IS A VERY EARLY RELEASE, BECAUSE I WANT TO RECEIVE FEEDBACK.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK AND EXPECT/REPORT BUGS!
USE A SEPERATE SAVE GAME, JUST IN CASE!


1. Complete rework of the "Say goodbye to your companion" scenes, it now involves a WHOLE LOT MORE options! (It's around 1300 lines of code)
- You can now flirt with your companion (and get reactions, also with relatives)
- Chat & watch a movie will now have influence on you and your companion, plus some random events
- You can have some drinks and try to make your companion drunk
- Using aphrodisiac & rape drugs on your companion
- You can start & end relationships (including incest relationships)
- More sex options and dialogs about sex
- At any point during the scene the spouse, dating or a family member can show up (which could be harmless or even dangerous, depending if you are just chating, kissing or beeing naked, with a lot different outcomes!)
- You can analyze and also trying to manipulate your companion
- Random events can trigger!
- Everthing what you do will have an influence on your companion depending on your stats
- It is now possible to have a goodbye scene with someone who lives with you (also your dating/wife)
- A lot additional events and dialogs if you have PimpYourGirl installed and your companion is a prostitute (only when sb_PimpYourGirl is enabled)

2. Rework of the current HouseParty
- I improved the house party with a lot of different new actions and flirt/sex events
- You can either try to have a nice evening, sit with guests and seduce them by flirting and/or inviting them to dance with you or just be a party animal
- You can now spike the party punch with more alcohol, aphrodisiacs or drugs, the outcome depends on your guest and also on your stats (be aware this can be VERY FUNNY but also be very dangerous!)
- The flow of the party is important for every outcome, try to heat up the atmosphere with dancing and being the dj.
- If you aren't the host, try to snoop around the house ... you're going to have some surprises!
- If you have sex with another guest, depending on the athmosphere and stats you now can get caught! Be sure your Dating/Wife isn't walking around! :D
- If you aren't the host you can invite one of the guests to your apartment to have sex without risk
- Supports now incest and incest relationships in all old and new events and dialogs (if vin_Incest is enabled)
- A few additional events and dialogs if you have PimpYourGirl enabled and one of your guests is a prostitute

3. Rework of the first three random dating scenes to support incest, aphrodisiacs and PimpYourGirl

4. Rework of the "Propose relationship" action to support incest relationships and PimpYourGirl

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (From vinfamy):
Download and extract the mod into Content/Modules
Make sure you don't leave an extra directory level for the mod, meaning:
For Better Pregnancy for example, it should go like this:
Modules/sb_BetterPregnancy/sb_BetterPregnancy.lpmod
and NOT
Modules/sb_BetterPregnancy_v1_3/sb_BetterPregnancy/sb_BetterPregnancy.lpmod
(If this is the case after you extract the mod, you need to move the sb_BetterPregnancy folder out to
Content/Modules and delete the (now empty) sb_BetterPregnancy_v1_3 folder)
After this, make sure the mod is active in the Mod Manager.

You may not have support to get changes made to the base game or the mod but nothing is keeping you from editing the files to make the game match your desires. Edit the times to match your gameplay or remove home from WHERE.
I think you would edit WHERE: all, -PC, -fraternity to WHERE: all, -PC, -fraternity, -home
Backup the file first in case I'm wrong or typo or whatever so you can go back if it doesn't work.
You won't have any neighbors unless you edit the NPCs in contacts but that is your choice.

I guess you can't have everything in life, it's a great game nonetheless and we really appreciate your talented effort into making this, but if you ever thought about making a sequel or another project, a 3rd person contemporary sandbox with the same degrees of interaction in lifeplay, a game like that shooting for the moon would definetly crowdfund itself and make the dimes roll in

Is there a fix for the patchy hair? Most hairstyles have chunks of hair missing and it looks kinda weird, but i don't see it in the screenshots. It's happened in every version I've ever downloaded

Just the simple script to string the most importNT CUT SCENES IN GAME AND MAKE IT A JOURNEY.
Those who like wondering aimlessly through the countless alternate interactions in the humongous maps can go ahead. This is the next step. Scripted events stringed along by some missions like => go visit 20 churches. Meet a lady named Gwen, change 5 jobs while making 20Gs on each. Have 20 photo sessions / work sessions with ledy friends ... this would make it more oriented towards the content that is there and also put the right stress on the scenes that need testing.

There have already been missions/quests implemented.

We've got the start of a quest system so that should be doable. I don't know if modders can add quests.

We can. I already have one that attaches directly to the quest system for the sabotage quest.
I could make more if i wanted to, but i've not been in the mood to make a quest nor have i found any real reason to do so. The closest i came to doing it was prototyping a sorta "beginners" quest so people go and get the basics like a job and set family up etc... but i never saw the need echoed for it.

That was what vinfamy was talking about. Sleep skips usually every scene/action, but at the moment there is a bug that we try to solve since a few versions, every time you open the settings or the mod manager sleep begins to call a lot of scenes/actions. Usually -sleep or -action would do that.

Next release will be Pimp Your Girl 1.3 that is already done and is now in testing (still searching for testers though).
The New Goodbye will take a little bit longer to finish, because it is now already bigger than PimpYourGirl. And around 10% is still missing ... maybe I'll do a beta2 release inbetween in the next days, didn't decide for now.

Ah i didn't know the bug was exclusive to sleep. That's why i made the suggestion but since that's not an option the only way to do it is manually looking through what changed. I hope someone has the older versions so they can compare the sleep function(s).
