Sometimes the causes are so simple that they are not even considered.

Had a similar problem. I've been looking for ages too. Until I remembered that I had changed what, I had changed for another game state in the menu item, where you can globally set the general attractiveness and the percentage of men, women, elves and orcs. If this only occurred to you after installing a new mod, then take a look at the mod. I suspect that such errors occur when various settings / files are duplicated.

Visual example:
Let's assume that the money.lpstat file from the ...Modules/vin_Base/Stats/ folder is again in a different stats folder in a mod and the two files do not influence each other, then it depends on: which lpstats is loaded first. What you set in the menu first changes the money.lpstats from the original folder Modules/vin_Base/Stats/. But if the money.lpstats from the mod is loaded first, it will show you the settings of the file from the mod. Because this remains unaffected by your settings in the game. Then you would either have to enter the settings in the mod-folder manually or you can simply delete the money.lpstats from the original folder. Because then your settings in the game will also be saved in the duplicate file in the mod. But please don't ask me why that is. Duplicate files can also result (which happened to me with age.lpstats) in the setting being present twice in the menu. Then you can set whatever you want, nothing changes. And depending on the mathematical calculation behind the respective settings, the settings add up or neutralize each other. If the error is not caused by the global setting, then check whether the file responsible for it has sneaked into the installation a second time.
BudgetPro also points out in his "!bpro mod pack" that he was able to fix some errors in the game because he moved the files in question to a different folder so that these files can be load in the game at a different time / in a different order.

If this only occurred to you after installing a new mod, then take a look at the mod. I suspect that such errors occur when various settings / files are duplicated.

Unfortunately, that modcollection had outdated mods too. And yes, the duplicated files -especially the lpstat files- can cause problems with other mods and spoils the gaming experience. If you encounter errors and you can identify what mod cause, you just try clear that mod's .lpstat file with deleting or renaming they extension.
Also there is 2 version of pimpyourgirl exist: the original and the Raddeck's remade. Do not use each of them at the same time! SexyBastardo's originals uses uncapped max pornfame stats what can cause the game to freeze in some cases. Also Raddeck replaced this stat with 'prostitutionfame', but this stat used exclusively in that mod's scenes (in other scenes or mods like the pornempire which use the base pornfame stat it doesn't counts, scenes related to pornfame may not trigger).
The original 'betterpregnancy' uses outdated elements what's not fully compatible with LP5x version's modified pregnancy (ago fertility stat splitted to players fertility and npc's fertility so this mod isn't use this variable correctly in all cases).
Some of Lostlegend's (LL) setting is let/try make underaged npcs, what renders the affected character invisible (because Vinfamy restricted it in the source code), and ruin any scenes with them.
And be aware that using tons of mods reduce the scenes globally to be triggered individually.

you dont have to worry about that. the way it works is whichever mod containing the duplicate file loads LAST in the mod manager list, the game will use that copy of the file, and the previous duplicates are just ignored.
when the game saves you will only have a single copy of that stat in the char sav file, the save system doesnt put your save in the mod file.
the .lpstat files only set the min and max value that the SLIDERS in the game menus use. you can actually manually set those stats outside of that range in code and it works fine. [[some exceptions exist to that rule but they are pretty rare]]

as a rule I recommend having Ravenger_Scenes mod load last after all other mods in the mod manager (and then mine load after that because i also overwrite a number of vin_Base files for example that Ravenger has modified as well. normally I pull Ravenger's copy of the file and modify that one, so that Ravs mod isnt effected by my changes. but if Ravs mod loads after mine in the mod manager then you wont have my changes in your game)

1. i created a biological mom for the character then another step mom. both of them live with me. i used gather family activity and selected their npc relationship as spouses. now my question is does this make it so that they automatically have sex with each other and will trigger some sort of events or sth? how does this parent shit work in general? i have triggered some with them one at a time but never together.

2. at night when i choose "hangout with family" it gives me couple of

Family is a bit messed up as he never intended incest content at the start and adding it right would have required a total rework. There is only 1 bedroom per house, plus the kitchen, living and bathroom, but those 3 are only in a few certain scenes - MC even eats meals in the bedroom. You can't take control of NPCs.

1. About the incest mod, don't expect too much logic behind. The marriage has mostly a blocking function, it add the Married tag to the npc which means he/she will be excluded from a range of random npc-npc events and they will say no to your marriage proposal. When you create a relative npc game only set the relationtype with you, none with other relative. Most of the scenes get relative npc connected with player and does not inspect the relation between each other. For example a few scene try call the player 2 parent (how is biologically should be correct) character but set no difference if they are same gender or are steps or what type has with eachother. In npc-npc relation it isn't matter the incest stat, it measures only the willingness to have sex with player, but not with another relative npc. If they sex with each other is likely depend on they perversion and masochist stats, and depending which incest scene's condition allow to trigger. Also these scenes probably require other mods enabled (like 'bull_parent' scene requires the vin_netory enabled, etc). To clarify the npcs has no desire to act towards sex with other char, they has no identity or ai behind them to do such things. All happening depends on triggered scenes only, and they trigger only when they premade conditions met.
Finally IMO its worth setting up the relatives relationships with eachother at least the same level, if you has siblings set them each other to be sibllings, etc. For this purpose I use the Nick'Nos NPC Manager.

2. The living with player count as a filter. Some scenes condition has it to scope the npcs. About the returning the room isn't normal, it is a general bug (the dev messed up something and it doesn't work as intended anymore. Grim made a small fix for that, called 'return room')

3. No. (all happening things is measured with player character, you can only swap roles during sexscene's animation, but not the control)

Another one is the NPC manager what I mentioned before. (It is a handy tool to manipulate npc relations. I often used in my mod development to set up and test scenarios.) Personally I don't use anything else besides that. Maybe others can suggest more.

Most of them. It depends on if a mod differs from standard game stats and use they altered one, then likely not (like the orig sb_pimpyourgirl). If the mod is old as a hell (like the orig sb_betterpregnancy) either not. So if the mod files contains an .lpstat file which has an identical version within the base game, then possibly not incorporate with other mods and will cause trouble with them (call it incompatible).

Yepp, but its my altered version. I removed the limitation from it, so you can make with this one a crazy relations too. (like your child can become the parent of your parent's, for an extreme sample). You can find the original version within BudgetPro's third party mod collection.
