I follow the Walkthrough, yet it doesn't work at times. I don't get some of the variables and not sure why.

I managed to get most of the scenes on my first playthrough, mostly focusing on Julia, and was fine by the end of Day 03. Out of interest I downloaded the walkthrough for the 2 or 3 missing scenes and filled them up after about an hour or two of reloads, but now I'm worried about how strict the game is with paths.

On my original save I never got the "Pre Romance" condition for Julia solely because I arbitrarily chose "Eyes" instead of "Smile" during that drinking convo...does that mean if you get to the end of Day 03 and don't have the Julia Pre-Romance/Pre-Lust condition, you get locked out of a Julia-centric path in later versions? If so that seems ridiculously strict, especially since some of the the paths don't really intutitively follow on from the choices you make. I mean it doesn't really matter when you can make multiple saves, open the images in the folder outside the game etc. but in that case why even bother playing the game "properly".

Just my 2 cents.

I don't know if it's just me....but I keep getting black screens with the dialogue - no images, and the game keeps freezing periodically.
I downloaded from Mega. Bad copy?

I think there's already an incest element. I don't use the patch, so IDK what all is defined with it. However, the game definitely specifies certain relationships. At the beginning, you're told you can't stay at the house while Christian (implied to be your dad, although it's not stated for sure) and Cassandra (probably your mom, or maybe your stepmom) are away on a trip. Cassandra refers to Cornell as your "uncle" and "your father's little brother". So Cornell is for sure your uncle; whether he's Christian's brother isn't said, although it's strongly implied. That's probably where the incest ends, though:

• Julia is a step-aunt, and Lori (her daughter) is your step-cousin
• None of the other characters have any tie to you, other than a friend-of-a-friend type of connection

There is a counter to track Love and Lust stats for Cassandra, so you will probably have a chance to seduce or romance her later on.

With the patch, Cornell is still step-father to Lori and second husband to Julia, but he isn't brother to your dad (Christian), instead he is your step-uncle while Julia is mom's lil' sis.

Promising VN so far. Interesting characters and story, awesome moments, and wonderful music. Really liked the final moment from v0.2 with the related song 'just a dream'. Nevertheless the VN is in an early stage of development. About two hours gameplay. Let's see if there is a constant progress especially in the early phase of development. If so the VN definitely deserves support.

It would be embarrassing if you said two eggs alone were cummed by a dude and for the lady's husband to be careful, because it may have been her lover if not him.

Well, it's not a real joke.
The answer to the husband's question is "two sperms fertilized two different eggs blah-blah-blah..." but Lori is too prudish to say that in front of the MC. The MC just makes fun of her saying that she doesn't need to be embarrassed by that, and that it would only be embarrassing if she used vulgar words like in the sentence he says: "It would be embarrassing if you said two eggs alone were cummed by a dude and for the lady's husband to be careful, because it may have been her lover if not him".

Don't let what is being said confuse you. That's not the joke.

Makes sense, thank you for explaining. I guess what confused me was the way the "joke" was handled later on, like there was a punchline:

mc "So I joked with her saying embarrassing would be if she says two individual eggs were cummed on by a dude and for the lady's husband to be careful, because it may have been her lover if not him."
