There is a fix in these comments. I forget which page its on though.
Skills often seemed to be randomized, with some skills that seem to be constant, such as werewolf learning lariat.

That's a little frustrating. I was hoping there was some pattern to it, thanks though. I'm going to play with leveling and save/load and see what happens.
Also, would anyone know if there is a more thorough guide? The google docs guide was great long ago when I played last but it has since been locked, and is missing a lot of helpful information.
Honestly, you will want to go to a previous save or start over if you don't have one.

The wandering spirit is incredibly important to the plot, completing the gallery, and results in a crazy powerful ally, one that makes the after game fights much more doable.

Hi there, small question from me. Can lia ( the witch after she becomes an ally ) learn anything besides hit and mania? ( i mean the natural way without skill tomes )
EDIT: Also, has anyone found a way to get the thousend curse slash tome from lemur in the first encounter? Because i have found a way to beat him. Without cheats. It does take a bit of patience, some luck and a bit of skill though with having the right technique.
- first make sure that lana is at least level 25 or so.
- make sure to have the stone bullet technique (learn from one of te apple dogs). Lemurs defense is high but his magical defense (resistance) sucks
- the next part takes a bit of timing, make sure that he follows you all the way around to the second bridge, don't push the button for that bridge to collapse until he is right in front of it. This might take some trying but it is doable.
- make sureto collapse the other bridge as well to keep the other attacking units away from those two buttons.
- start pelting lemur with stone bullets. (it is a magical technique so lemurs high defense won't matter)

so i got the cg save from the google doc and there is one cg missing. It's on the 3rd page it's the 3rd one in the 3rd row. How do i get
That's the final title CG. its an odd one as it "unlocks" at the very end of all the content
So basically I have to complete the game? or is there something special I have to do to get to the end?
complete the game, see the final scene. It has some quirks when it comes to actually unlocking though that I haven't quite figured out.
hi, i capture the wandering spirit at 5-4 but nothing happends, i miss something or i have to wait or progress in the story?
After you've captured the spirit you have to keep progressing in the story.
