Wow! Believe me, people tend to frown upon all kind of changes at first, but when they see these, they will know that DAZ is the best choice. (I normally like HS models because in general they're cuter but these are far better and far cuter than the HS models)

First off I gotta say that j love this game. Even though it was honey select the girls just were great. Loved the looks and personality. Im not against the daz remake, the renders look pretty good. Yes they wont have the same allure as the original models but I'm sure if the story continues people will really get into the new models. Now I remember that the game got an overhaul a while back and the story changed a bit. Now with the new remake I wanted to ask if the story would continue or would it be remade again?

I think some of them better in the old one like Serra and Celeste but goddamn new Lillian is smoking piece of ass. As such, for the new Lillian, I suggest we opt the new design.
Will the characters and their personalities also get a rework?
I can't imagine the new Alex saying she is old, or the new celeste being as tsundere as she was in the original.
I do hope Serra does keep her "friendo" and the like mannerisms.

Oh, no! I mean, the DAZ renders look great, and I would have liked them in a new game, but especially Celeste have lost all her magic (which I believe come from the shape of her eyes and mouth, with a slight asian touch). The same holds true for the rest too, where the Lillian model is the one that's passable. The HS models manage to convey both innocence, curiosity and self confidence, at the same time, whereas the DAZ models are considerably more slutty and unattractive. You do you, but it would be game over for me.
I see we are missing a new image of the best waifu, but I get why you would hide it. Got to save the best for last.
So now that all the lessers are out of the way, what does updated bar owner/celeste's boss who flirts with us all the time look like? (Apologize on forgetting name, has been a while since I played).
All in all the DAZ models look so much better. If the story is going to be roughly the same, I hope you kind of go all out on their secrets.

All the personalities will be the same minus a tiny few changes. Serra will be more reserved, Celeste more of a 'mean girl' and Detta less childish (but still as obsessed). I haven't made any of the side characters yet I planned to do them as needed, so Mr. Nakonis would come when I updated celestes story.

The previous version didn't, it was more focused on the MC's relationships and also the story. If going by that, No, or at least not for now.

I haven't played this game yet and was putting it off until I was playing depravity and saw this game in his promotion thingy and decided to finally give it a go. But then I saw in the patreon page that it was being re done and man the graphics are SUPER high quality. ounce the game is finished this game might be one of my top 3 most beautiful games next to being a dik and city of broken dreamers. So ill be patient and wait until its finished... looking forward to the game
So it sounds like it's going to be DAZ now so I guess this will be the last time I'll be in this thread. Going to unfollow the thread and delete the saves and game folder. Guess I'll go see how lucky paradox is doing.

I'm sorry to see you go. Hope you enjoy Lucky Paradox, everything I've heard seems to indicate it's very good. I also recommend Harem Hotel, Mythic Manor, Depravity, and The Inn, if you haven't played those.

just remember most of the games on here are WIPs so the creators are in control of it. but it isn't bad to get feedback from the public. but i say go for it. if you like to dabble in watercolor i say go for it. but if the creator decides to make the change and you are not willing to check it out at least. too bad. i guess you lose out on a game that has a lot of potential. and to the creator let those creative juices flow if you want to change the game from the ground up i say go for it it's your prerogative.

I never said I wouldn't play the game if the dev made the newer version in daz did I? so don't just assume stuff which I never mentioned
....and it would be no problem if he remakes the game from beginning with daz (tho I really do believe HS models fit better in a magical/supernatural setting but hey that's just my opinion that I provided since the dev asked for our opinion) ....so the best experience imo would be if it was entirely in daz or entirely in HS (doing half and half would not result in a good situation so I suggested if he doesn't want to remake the game go for HS if he does I am not against it) it was just a case of him asking us a suggestion and I said old felt better to me...and some girls older sprites are better than their daz counter parts...but I will still support him regardless of what he decides....I was just giving my opinion

Gotta say, I was worried when I found out it's being redone with Daz models since I usually prefer Honey Select models. It is really hard to make Daz models look good and the slightest mistake dumps them straight down in the uncanny valley, while Honey Select's animesque schtick allows bad models to at least look cartoony rather than nightmare-inducingly off-putting.
Good to see the redone models actually look pretty good; faces on the samples I've seen are still a bit plastic and doll-like, but lighting tricks can help with that.
