The story is a slow boil, not a flash-in-the-pan. So, no you can't do anything with the ... wards. Not yet. But we are building towards that, and the two girls are starting to do things with each other to get them ready to approach the MC.
This is a story first, porn second. So it's going to appeal more to some people than others. But that's fine. Different people have different tastes. Nothing wrong with that.

I woke up at 7AM (time of central europe) for play before go to work. Great update, great story about love, sadness, tenderness and lust. Everytime are big emotions.

I enjoy this game thoroughly. The story is pretty well written, characters are believable within the plot and in real life. Yes this is a porn game but the "wards" seem more human in their actions and emotions and less video game bimbo that just want dick. Not saying one is better than the other just that video game bimbo would be out of place here. I'm enjoying the different art style and the look of the main female characters. It's a breath of fresh air from either questionable loli or blonde hair with dead, lifeless blue eyes bimbo.
My one gripe is that I just wish the dev/dev team would be able to release updates more frequently. Last update I had of this game was base Chapter 3 v 0.4.0 back in December of last year. Christmas Eve to be exact. I understand the need for a slow burn, but five months between updates is painful. Yes, we get a good chunk of story with each chapter update, which is enjoyable to say the least. It's just that this story is so good, I just want to be able to experience it more frequently. Hopefully the dev/team are able to shorten the wait in between updates without sacrificing the quality of the product.

This game has a plot that gives you feelings coupled with a graphical style that makes the characters not look like cookie cutter. Definitely a very positive experience.

I just stumbled upon Light of My Life, and knocked it out almost in a sitting. Its a slow burn to get started but bloody hell, If Chp 4 is a tasted of things to come.... Ima pass out!

This could very well be the next best game on the whole site with more content tbh. Pacing is amazing, unfortunately there's a couple months between updates. Really hope it doesn't turn into Dating My Daughter waiting sim 2.0

I dislike lesbo scenes too, but in this game they make perfect sense to the plot and they add to the game to the point I want these scenes there! They fit in and the game would be less awesome without them.
Note the title of chapter 1...
Sorry to disappoint you there. It's just me, and I'm pouring every workday-evening, weekend, holiday and vacation day into making this thing. There's literally not more time I could put in other than tell my wife the bi-weekly movie night is canceled, too.

Probably not going to happen.
He wants to release a full chapter every update and also has his life going on and I think he works full time too so updates are going to be slow.

This gem is unquestionably one of the top 5 games in development and stands uniquely on it's own for the depth of story, original and not at all cookie cutter art, extremely high dev quality (I am not sure I have even encountered a single bug yet 4 chapters!), and for creating incredibly engaging characters. Like all the best games, it leaves you desperately wanting more of the story at the end of every chapter. Hats off to ya Dev, you are creating a Masterpiece!

I'm far from disappointed as the quality is superb. But you're working alone trying to fit this into your everyday life. That's gotta be respected as there are devs out there that live off of making these games and either their quality is trash, their update frequency is trash, or both. Respect given where it's deserved and you sir deserve respect!
As he and others have explained quite a few times in the thread, that won't change. You can decide how much current update speed is worth to you and support him for that amount every update. Your only gripe would be taken care of this way.
