Damn, big words since you've been one of Xred's biggest supporters here.

I love the game premise: A couple stranded on a desert island. Lots of possibilities for sexy events as they struggle to get a shelter and survive alone on the island. And the title 'Lewd Island' induces us to believe that would be the focus of the game. The game started well, and I became his supporter on Patreon. Then in the update before "Lewd Island-Season 1" he did something that I hate in any game, the game making decisions for the MC. So I stopped supporting him on Patreon, and now this nonsense. I hope he gets the game back on track (the couple on a desert island), because it has a huge potential, I love how it started, and I want to support this project on Patreon again, but the game should make sense and be enjoyable. Right now it lacks both things.

That crossed my mind too, but he's too much of an idiot to make it believable, that he's some mastermind...and if he really is the mastermind, why would he opt for a complete memory wipe...makes no sense. Also, if the red haired girl is related to the MC, the Jamaican dude wouldn't keep threatening her with killing her.

Edit: and with mind control (which isn't even part of the tag list) is what's going on, even on a subconscious level, certain personality traits still lay beneath the surface. His personality traits are anything but someone with the ability to conjure millions of dollars through tact and corruption.

Did he ever fix the issue with the game rarely wanting to work with older save files from previous versions??
I got sick and tired of my save files never working from past releases and quit the game because of it.

This last update made me wanna cry from stupidity of the situation.

Below spoilers so don't read it if you haven't played.

I understand that "daughter" (or whoever she is) might be pissed on the guy for what he did. But for fuck sake. Desmond is coming on the boat, he says that he's gonna look for "him", even though "daughter" and them, noone said it's a guy.
Second thing, Desmong calls the "guy" with his name and MC doesn't fuckin care to ask how the hell he knew what's the name and he didn't said that to his "daughter".
Additioanlly, MC with every single word wants to make things worse, so instead of shut up, he's pulling the triggers.

EDIT: And of course MC and "daughter" haven't said anything about the stewardess being on the boat.


I think I will pass this game, because of this nonesense.

seriously... the story contradict hitself, the personality of the girl change every 3 update... and best of all, we've waited so long for a couple of text where the author basically say "we'll start over, the game is finished (well "season 1", as if something this small coul be called a season...) and we're even farther than before from our girl because now she hate us. Also i'll insult the intelligence of everyone here by making a story so stupid that even the 'i'm sick" excuses from patreon looks credible."

Maybe the Dev for this game is tired of getting new Patreons, and is actively self sabotaging his/her own game in an effort to fade away in the background. Either way, resetting all progress to below zero, after all this time...Dev needs to stop smoking whatever is in that pipe.

To give this guy some credit, this game STARTED off pretty good, I actually didn't mind the slow burn since we were inside the MCs head and we got some nice visuals and he was battling with his feelings towards D.

Where the game fell off was all this tonic/alcohol bullshit when the feelings could have been developed more naturally in these unforeseen circumstances, she's a young and naive girl that probably hasn't felt love so she can misplace the "love" her father is giving her as more romance (it's a porn game, don't justify it even further, this is enough).

Instead substance abuse was involved and the final nail in the coffin were the sexual previews in flashbacks/dreams, this REALLY killed the flow and pacing of the game where the dev was honestly milking the shit out of the fact he was going to slam his daughter. Instead of making it more "romantic" they just screwed in some vanilla unsexy way which took away from the big moment.

There was so much build up and suspense that the payoff wasn't that great, it felt rushed and more obliged too do it than him really wanting to do it.

This game is really bad now and one I won't be following any longer. It's painful watching so much potential in a game being flushed away due too so many bad decisions and poor choices.
