Maybe the commentary is getting a little too harsh. I know that even I booed and hissed and wished for my money back, but overall and throughout this has been a good and inviting game (OK, and yeah there's that crappy ending). What the real problems have been are short updates and long update times, which all seemed to begin many months ago when the dev was having some intense "personal issues" causing the problems or at least that's what was said on the Patron's pages. I have no inside knowledge, but it would appear those issues, or at least some of them, persist. Whatever it is, my REVISED feedback is this. I wish this talented dev the best and wellness, and highly encourage an understanding that long term patrons have noticed and continue to notice the decline in output quantity and quality, and are concerned. If a lackadaisical attitude is to blame, then get to work if you want to keep us interested. What started as a really good game ended closing "season one" with a below par vote from the gaming community, and given the game's potential and previous accolades is a dirty shame. If it is your personal issues, whatever they are are none of anyone's business, but I sure hope you can get it all sorted, and quickly, as your dev future, at least in the near term, depends on it. In your case, IMO that's a lot to risk.

A fair bit of well presented stuff, and with a decent amount of the more advanced BJ+ payout variety then is typically expected from my own perspective within a slow burn game approach like this one.
Certainly more then a bunch of the people in this thread, who apparently stopped playing many updates ago but are still lingering around to complain about lack of content after every update, tend to portray it out to have.

Yeah. Every time I check back in to this game every 2 updates I always read through a slew of negative comments about the lack of content. Then I load up the game and (thought it had been 3 but it had only been 2) it seems to include a couple fairly extensive sexy time scenes in every daily chapter. I mean sure, I guess if you are going put a ton of weight specifically on the minutes played aspect being offered they are comparatively short to a lot of stuff out there. Of course a lot of that other stuff I might spend over an hour playing through an update, instead of 30 minutes here, typically doesn't have anywhere near as good of sexy time payoff scenes and while usually being worse written with the dialog. For my own time and preference choice - I'll take the 30 minutes and more stimulating sex scenes. But that is just me.
Plus are there really any games out there with the type of extensive and detailed sexy time scenes (without low effort effort writing at that) on par with this one *NOT* taking forever to update? lol. Heck, some of the ones universally regarded as having the "best" ones might have longer playtime updates, but those updates also seem to come a lot more spaced out then these do. Waiting for 2 of these and waiting for one of those seems to about equal out, with those just continually taking longer and longer too as development goes forward (and incoming money goes up, of course).

This update was DOA. The dev should just stick with porn logic. Trying to add in a complicated story is destroying it to the point people are being turned away.
That is pretty unfair imo. If you can get past the fragile minded expectation that every one of these slow burn incest with your daughter games has to play out the same exact way, with the same exact never in serious doubt story progression....it's really not that complicated at all either.
It's pretty much the same general "she ends up finding out about some stupid thing he did and felt bad about, then thinks the worst" plot twist in almost every chick flick ever made. Don't worry though. Like pretty much all of those I'd be betting the house this ends up playing out the same way afterwards too.

I'm not being unfair, the dev has done this before where the daughter keeps coming off as mentally unhinged. It wasn't well received originally and it's still not being well received. He had things set up with the last update where her corruption should have continued to progress further, then tries to add in a more convoluted plot that just falls flat on it's face. If the dev could implement the story in that regard where it's better received, that wouldn't be the case. She finds out about the pamphlet? Then just loses her shit and instead of trying to commit suicide this time, she tries to commit murder? Unless the dev is making her character out as a psycho, it's just out of left field, it makes zero sense to do that at this point in the game once again.

It is refreshing to read the fedback from fellow players of this game/novel. The major thing for me, is what also girlfairdev touches on which is the length of updates and the waiting time between them.
I do not know if it is due to technical reasons (rendering times) for things taking so long. What is also a "shame" is that the Lost theme of the game could be fun moving forward but it needs to be tied together from start to finish. I find different pieces up to this point disconnected even if the moments isolated are nice it does not progress the relationship in an organic way.
But hey, its a fantasy game and not real life and its not trying to be so I'll continue to enjoy the snippet updates in the future. I really hope there is an overlaying story that is planned out to be told and not thrown together on a whim to acomodate various fetishes from the community.

Of course it's not going to be well received by a lot of the more vocal people that post on this forum, and who have a fragile expectations tendency to go looking to jump off nearest bridge the moment any game attempts to stray off the simplistic minded and cookie cutter "I'm irresistibly perfect and everybody wants me, yay!" path. The moment you enter the flawed MC aspect and it became clear that the dad's dick alone wasn't going to enough to "organically" (*eye roll* here btw) morph the D into a subtlety submissive pleasure bot who without question borderline worships you as the perfect center to their universe......yeah, the game and story was going to go to crap for a lot of those people.
Personally, I'm applauding the dev here from straying off that beaten and milked to death path in the name of writing a more unique story. Even if it means losing a few vocal patreons (or the ones that pop into every thread only claiming they are or would be in the attempt to better sell their displease at any said straying of the above). Out of the countless father/daughter incest theme games I've played I also think it's probably the best written one of the bunch as well from an actual human themed standpoint. With the presented character flaws in this, right on down to the choice to make the 40 year MC dad not be a perfect genetic specimen, playing a big role in that. Give me some of these suspended belief aspects written in here over the standard 'nobody actually ends up being F you pissed you are literally screwing everybody and their mothers around them" stuff every time.
And while you slam the D's character as being unhinged, while ignoring the fact those suicide attempts don't really happen within the actual game that continues (they just exist as an early game over mechanic...in a game), I also find her to be the most well written and authentic feeling one of the bunch. Given the actual scenario of being stranded on a desert island and having just screwed her father, that her initial reaction was to flip out after reading the pamphlet and even to the extent she fired the gun in what seems a lot better interpreted as a pissed off "get the F away from me" warning shot then "attempted murder"? I personally loved it and felt it just better added and sold the mood impact the surrounding plot turn was **supposed** to have on the story.
Really digging the growing Lost vibe here too. Although i might be biased there since that was one of my favorite shows of all time. Just hope it doesn't tie everything up at the end in the same way that did
