Anyone else think the texting and Rooster stuff is slightly under used?

I’m not suggesting he base a lot of the plot line around them like Persona 5 or whatever but it seems like a cheap way to expand on characters. Stuff like when you text Sage from Bella’s. It doesn’t advance the plot it’s just nice to see her being annoyed but still affectionate with the MC.

Maybe I just crave content and this is a cheap way to do it. No need for renders.

In terms of Maya's speech about strings I'm sticking with my first theory, it was Maya saying "You should stop dating other girls because you like us, not because we told you too". Holy Bacchus explanation of it seems plausible too though. Either way I think its going to come back up later in the story if for nothing else then Josy seemed to not like the idea. Don't really see it as a flaw in the story.

If this were a single run type of game, then absolutely.

However, with people doing multiple runs for different paths, different homestays and different affinities, having to redo the chats, roosters and swyper over and over again as they can't be fast skipped can get to be real tedious after a while.

Perfectly CHICK-y means totally not touch a DIK status choice at all? I feel really sissified doing that in my run. NEVER AGAIN! It forced me to avert my eyes at every opportunity. Might as well rename the game to "Being a CHICK"

I like the interactions it adds between characters, especially on rooster, so I am always up for more.

I've found that's true with Swyper, but even on replays I usually enjoy the text chats. It probably has something to do with the main characters feeling more 'real.'

The whole guitar lesson is optional so it has to be discarded.

If it's not some unknown player (which wouldn't be completely retarded since we at what, start of the second season?) and not some far-fetched option like Magnar or one of the jocks who as it turns out hated Chad/Dawe, then we should consider Troy.

He obviously must hold a huge grudge on Chad/Dawe and even slight one on MC. Question is - how he got incriminating stuff but there're plenty of options. He can be connected to some HOTs "opposition" (like Melanie/Sarah), some rat from DIKs (unlikely), getting paid help from nerds or he could be hacker/sneaky bastard himself (also unlikely but why not).

Well My advice would be, don't read too much into it. Sage is entitled to her own opinion on who wants to jump MC's DIK, and Maya is entitled to her own decision of whether she wants strings attached or not.




I don't think the relationship is mutually political motivated. I might be wrong at reading scenarios (as some of the esteemed forum members pointed out a few times), but in the flashback of Ep 5, Sage seems to be all over Chad. I am hesitant to use Tybalt as an example as he may be political motivated as well, in addition to being desperate. Difference between them is that Sage managed to find an FB while Tybalt managed to find a watermelon. Sage is now slowly letting go when MC mentioned about them and she's actually giving it a thought.

Now against my earlier advice of not reading into it too much, I am now leaning towards Mel and Sarah know who the side-bitch is and they are just trying to just help Sage and also push forward the breakup event. Reason why Mel asks if Sarah has her back is because what she plans to do goes against the HOT code and she wants Sarah to back her action. They feel that it's time to do it since Sage has MC and it will make it easier for Sage, especially when she's going to be furious at Chad, Mel and Sarah.

good theory, but I think that since the party in episode 5 onwards there is already the feeling of sage with the MC and not only at the end, besides that I think that this thing that Melaine and Sarah are planning may not be 100% in favor of Sage, because probably the girl that chad is cheating on is Melaine and Sage breaking up with chad will be good for her and consequently for having the mc it will be good for both of them (this if you are on the sage route, otherwise sage would be on worse), but I believe that the relationship between them will only materialize with 3-5 episodes to end the game.
