The slowup is the change from Genesis 3 to Genesis 8 models and the extra time it takes to render. DMD is not affected directly, but is influenced by the time it takes on SL.

On one hand I'm happy they team is fixing up DMD. On the other hand I just wish it was after Chapter 4 was done.

I don't mind. It's been too many weeks since any game I enjoy had a new release, besides Treasure of Nadia.
On an unrelated note, I wonder what gear MrDots is using. I did a test render with DAZ once, and it was like 30mn + for a simple scene with one random woman and a background with a GTX 1070. I hope he bought like 2 NVidia Titan RTX 24GB to speed up the process. There's even better cards for 3D render going up to $7500. Not sure he wants to buy those but considering his earnings I guess he can afford 2x Titan RTX.

Not gonna lie, I'm not too hyped about playing an unfinished update (especially if you'd have to replay it) and waiting for November, so there's a big chance I'll drop it, unfortunately. The story was just getting interesting. All the bug-fixing should've happened as soon as they were reported IMO, instead of stockpiling them for later. I wouldn't even mind a slightly extended development cycle if it meant playing a polished game.

Kinda burned out on this one as its kinda ended up all over the place IMO. Think ill wait for the end of the chapter complete with the bigfix/extended scenes patch before I dive in and then maybe ill have clearer idea of where the game is going and maybe get more hyped again for chapter 4 next year.
In meantime though I fully embrace a patch that does just involve extended what is already there or polishing old content. I get it doesn't add much for those who are already waiting on the main draw of an update (continuation of the plot) but its good hes being transparent about wanting to go back and add animations and address plot holes before starting the next chapter. Who knows Chapter 4 might not end up being the final one and it will continue on so these are gonna need to be things done at some point and prior to starting a new chapter seems a pretty good point to go back and rework and tweak some stuff.
Also could be an excuse for me to check out that other new game of his, have not touched it yet but then reasons being is he can often be slow in getting to the meat and bones in his story so ive barely followed up on it but it can fill the wait between this game and still enjoying his work meantime.

I think, of all the possible turn offs, this news is the worst. Doing uncompleted updates is a really bad decision.... It's better to take 3 or 4 months but complete the update and storyline.

Everyone is making a huge deal out of this but it might not be nearly as bad as it seems and theres been a hundred games ive played where the update is 'half complete' without really feeling like so. The game is literally built on years of incomplete updates as were nowhere near finished the game yet it seems. You want something in particular? Chances are you gotta wait as now and then other things take priority - I feel for Jennifer fans, now THEY must feel every update is incomplete haha

Why "pity" ? Should one have a certain kink and it can be implemented in the game for them, why shouldn't it? Why are those without this kink more entitled to want their own to be implemented first and only those, shunning the others aside and telling them over and over how dissapointed they are that others want D to be shared with another male?
I played all the routes, just to see how the story can go, I didn't claim ownership of D, just because I know it's a game and I want to be entartained by the story and the banter.

So there's a sharing route with Martin, but the Jennifer and Georgina routes are split?
Talk about having the wrong priorities...
Here's something else you can think of, Mr Dots; don't split the Jennifer and Georgina routes! There's no reason why the MC can't have both of them, and D, and Elena.
Could someone who's a Patreon patron or SubscribeStar subscriber please pass on this very important suggestion?

They can't do it that way as they have 2 games on the go.
If they postpone this one it will take even longer as the staggered launches between this and Sunshine Love will put it back far longer.

Can't be sure about that.Do you remember the extra scenes for ch.1?They added sex scene for Olivia and another one for Elena.
And many more small changes.Not to mention the gallery and achievements.
