As for my preference for the LI's;

Sage - Hot, no strings attached (As yet) redhead who is therefore the most honest and open one with you. That's why (putting aside the porn) I enjoy her scenes as you actually tend to learn stuff from her.

Josey - In story terms I've known her the longest and before things got very complicated. I also like her 'chipper' attitude as it translates to the kind of girls I liked in RL.

Bella - Is growing on me since I explored her route more but she still scares me with her unblinking ways and her hot or stone cold swings.

Jill - Is a very well modelled character but she's the kind of girl that I find deeply, deeply boring.

Maya - Don't trust her and (as mentioned before) her less then a week swing from 100% lesbian to wanting to be your/my girl makes me think she's a little unbalanced. I like a touch of crazy from time to time but seeing as she's Dereks sister and I'm potentially trapped in proximity to her for 4 years.........I wanna keep that at arms length.
Sage - I think is sweetheart at heart, but she's heavily concerned about hierarchy and what people think from the outside, vain. But she's changing because of the MC

Josy - she's more confident, she's definitely has DIK in her, and I mean her attitude, I think eventually she will have a DIK route ending with he MC, just my opinion.

Bella - Her story has a lot of layers to it. I think her mood swings as you put are understandable, her parents died when she was relatively young, her relationship with her husband is clearly not that good. And she's unsure how she's supposed to feel with the MC, she clearly enjoys being around him, but she's torn because she's married and because of Jill, and probably also because of the age difference and she's a teacher.

Jill - She's clearly the cannon path, she mirrors the relationship that the MC's parents had. But she is also clearly a sweetheart as well, she tries to make the MC laugh when he's having a bad day.

Maya - Yes she wasn't a 100% honest, but it's realistic, we gotta remember these are mostly teenagers, it's very uncommon for a teenager to have all their shit together. I think Maya has a pretty submissive personality, and she can be swayed by a more dominant personality like Josy and the MC, which is also scary because Quinn is a more dominant personality. But Maya isn't some shitty person.

I think if MC helps Quinn he will do it for HOT in general, or for Sage.

I don't think it is an avoidable step anyway, somehow MC will be involved, perhaps even accidentally (for example he is with Quinn, when the bad guys arrive and take both or they try to kidnap a HOT and he intervenes)

I am intrigued by Quinn's motivations, why did you set up two secret activities? what's this money round for? Is Quinn a customer of these drug dealers or is she forced to cooperate?
I certainly hope we can help Quinn for Quinn's sake not for hots or Sage.

it seems complicated to me

MC and Quinn don't have such a relationship that Quinn can ask him for help
Quinn could "blackmail" MC to help him (if the scandal breaks out others would pay for it)

Maybe in light fiction, but in real life most drug dealers at the level Quinn would be dealing with are non-violent. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the whole "violent drug criminal" thing is mostly just racist nonsense, at the lower levels. Particularly for anyone who is dealing to a college student.
the image shown is not particularly serene

and then it is Quinn who is worried about the money she cannot collect

the situation is that. Josy cheated on Maya in a difficult time, but as soon as she got the chance, she runs to her.
Maya has had a good time with MC and has also made some serious thoughtson him, then she finds Josy and ends everything

these are two common situations, of course less common they occur simultaneously ...

when MC freaks out does one of the two girls tell him that she feel something for him? and they both speak directly to him without the presence of the other. no, but as soon as he leaves they immediately make peace between them

once Josy is in BR is there ever the hypothesis that one of the two girls gets involved with MC?

the relationship between Josy and Maya is clearly stronger, there is nothing wrong with it, it is so
I can't see how you can pitch josy as 'running straight to Maya'.

On the second date with Josy when you ask her about getting into B&R she says "If I had I would be outside your dorm jumping for joy"

Then when it happens it's MC she phones, It's the MC she wants to stay with and she merely gets alloted a random dorm that just happens (for story purposes) to be Maya's.

Even then she scarpers out to the Toilet, texts MC and during that talk she curses the odds and asks "what are we gonna do"

I'd say that all her talk and action up to this point have her wanting to pursue the MC over Maya and it's only when MC storms out that she falls back in with Maya.

Even then she's the first to try to mend the bridge via text and later on (if you take the path of friends/meet dad/luggage) she pretty much admits to not wanting to be the odd one out and ending up with no-one and not having a choice in the matter.

Maya's opposite scene (not helping with luggage) is a lot more constrained and is just that she doesn't want to deal with the complication that is the MC. therefore I'd say the path to a Josy only path is a lot more viable based on the writing and timeframes then it is for a Maya only route

Based on their current relationship I don't see any reason why if things go full tailspin several episodes down the line for her she might not reach out for his assistance. Quinn clearly seems to have a real thing for MC and we as MC have had several opportunities to display our interest in her and peek beneath the layers of emotional armor she wears.

Josy with MC is completely honest
she always told him that she was engaged, MC is an affair, and MC knows it, in fact towards Josy he only says nonsense, he is afraid, there is little to do

the story with MC is clearly over as soon as she arrives in Maya's room, they write to each other, they talk about each other but nobody talks about their relationship. it's over. when Josy talks about "we" she refers to the three of them, not to them 2

once they are all 3 in BR there is no moment when it is credible that MC has a chance to continue his story with one of the two girls.

why otherwise after the clarification "we are all cheaters" are the two girls officially a couple while MC has to beg for a friendship that does not exist?

on the hypothesis that it might be easier to reconquer Josy of Maya I agree, but it's a different matter

why would she ask him for help?

what would their current situation be?
that maybe they smoked a joint together and some casual sex?

they are not on good terms, MC explicitly says this to Sage, plus she also treats Maya badly ...

See and all of this depends on the choices along the route. This could be a huge story part and based upon choices especially along the chick side we as MC's might not have done any of the above. We might have told her Eff you and your menu, no weed (which means no casual sex) and might have stayed at Bella's or Derek's. That would negate the whole thing.

Depending on your choices, they can be on good terms. The MC can confess to Sage he likes Quinn, have several sexual intercourses with her, try to kiss her and tell her he missed her at the Prep's party. Actually Quinn and the MC on a Dik path are getting along well. You're not even forced to defend Maya when Quinn scolded her.

But I agree, helping her should be optional for players. Unless the consequences become too important and the MC has to be involved for the greater good.

Haha! What..? Seriously, where is this coming from?
Are we even playing the same game here? What on earth did you do to get such outcomes?
Or are you just attempting to pass a draft of your alternate timeline fanfic here? Which is it?

I have a feeling that no matter what players do, whether they rebuff her at every turn or do some/all things with her, we're all going to get swept up in her wake and the MC will be somewhat forced to deal with it even if he's not necessarily forced to help her. There could be certain choices on how the MC deals with the impending Quinn fallout that involve actually helping her because you want to help or simply helping her to help yourself and others get out of the mess she creates.

See dumb shit right there. I'm not saying I disagree with you but that would be really piss poor writing. Honestly unless you are along the Sage route then Quinn getting in trouble due to drugs wouldn't really impact anyone other than maybe Tommy depending on his level of involvement. I know everyone hates my scientific, logical mind but just knowing someone doesn't get you in trouble with any sort of authority. Maya/Josy wouldn't get dragged into it. The HOT's MIGHT be screwed because most of them are doing and involved in the drugs, Sage would not get implicated because as far as we know and from what's been said she is against drugs. Tommy, Leon, Jamie and John Boy would get slaps on the wrist. Wrongful Possession and Use is trivial in the eyes of the law. Distribution however is HUGE!

Edit - I know I'm not the only one who thought the forced relationship with Maya/Josy was BS. This would be no different and in fact even worse because it could be life/game altering. Hell it could go against the whole affinity to have a Chick Good Guy be forced to help out a girl who has been selling drugs, women and is trying to pimp out 2 of his potential LI's. TALK ABOUT FUCKING STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!

What if this is a DIKs+Quinn kind of a situation? Since MC is now officially part of the fraternity, he'll get dragged into this one way or another.

I almost finished ep 5 and gotta say this game is something else. I've played a few decent porn VNs of course (like WTHI) and don't want to take anything from those, but god, just how advanced BADIK is. The plot is very addictive and immersive. I love that college vibe. EVERY SINGLE render is hot as fuck, the graphics itself is something I haven't seen in any other VN before. The mechanics is so advanced that I can easily see me play it couple more times just to see things I ommited before.

My opinion is surely full of trivialities for you guys, based on how much discussion have been here concerning the game, but I just can't miss the opportunity to say how impressed I am by this game. Keep it up dev.

Furthermore, if Vinnie is effectively Quinn'supplier the whole thing will be bigger than her.
