That's actually an excellent argument for the visuals to be in MC's mind. There is no question that the visions of sex during the D&G game are in the MC's imagination. He even asks Magnar to hold on the progression of the game while he "finishes" his fantasy in his mind. That said, the same vibe of him imagining is not present during the diary reading.

I don't believe for a second that the MC is visualizing the mom topless, that's totally done for the players.

Just like almost every single character dresses like a slut (even Jill often wears transparent clothing or shows immense cleavage - something that is not congruent with her modest mental characterization), this fan service is totally included for the players' titillation (of course some of the characters are sluts but does everyone playing honestly believe a college would allow their staff to wear such provocative clothing?)

The MC's mentality when reading the diaries is definitely an innocent, want-to-get-to-know-his-mom kinda tone. The likelihood that he'd be drooling over his mom's imaginary mammies is not even hinted at. The only thing weird about the scene is that the players, who have invested in the mc's predicament, typically put themselves in his shoes, and so seeing his mom topless (in a game that isn't all about fucking your own family) feels a little off putting. I definitely felt it was weird from the get go - I should stop being so empathetic for the MC!

Now even if the MC did visualize his mom topless (which, as I've said I don't believe it was his visualization, her depiction was for out benefit), it's still not in any way, shape or form, incest. If he started jerking off to those mental images, then I'd accept he'd crossed the line.

Plenty liked the post about no more fan theories and clearly I did and it didn't work. About to abandon this game as one of those too difficult ones, delete and move on. Done it before and there are plenty with little to no difficulty. Certainly won't patron any with that high a level of difficulty. Again, I'd rather be able to just skip the free roams altogether. Don't care much about the renders and just want to get out of them. Too old for that shit.

I believe that's an error with the walkthrough mod, rather than the game itself.

If you're using the walkthrough mod, scrappy updated the mod to fix this error.

Make sure you're using the updated version & load a save from before the freeroam starts for it to work.

If that doesn't fix it you'll need to ask on the mod thread.

Disagree 100%. Being curious about your parents having sex, thinking about them having sex, or even spying on them doing it, is absolutely not incest nor even related. Incest is having sex with a close family member (degrees of blood ties dependent on jurisdiction). Reading about a sexual encounter of a parent is once again not incest nor related to it.

The player is you or I or any of the thousands of people that play the game. She's not your mom, she's the mc's mom. Some people identify as the mc when they play, some do not. I don't, maybe you do. And if you do, I can see your adversion to the whole naked mom scene. I personally found it a weird scene too, but didn't get incest vibes because no one was having sex with their mom in the scene.

To be argumentative, none of those articles states that genes have nothing to do with it. They say that there isn't a single gene that determines sexual orientation, but that hundreds or more genes contribute along with many other complex factors.

Shazba bud, it is not worth it to get into it. A couple folks contend that being gay is a choice, and a few of us believe based on medical and psych research that it is not a choice, but is hard wired somehow through genetics. People didn't choose to be a stigma in the past. They simply were who they were. Ignorance seems to stalk the halls of BADIK even when it is discussing Maya and her sexuality like she has total control over what she preferred. Anyhow that is it in a nutshell.

yeah, i dont think he is, as far as i know, MC dont know how Lynettes looks like, dont think he has a picture of her, he only know her from her dads stories(not unless his dad describe how Lynette looks like even the smallest detail, still hard to picture from words ), how come his imagination of her mom is on point, he could imagine another face, (like Jade maybe )

I've lost count with how many times this question has come up. Maybe it should be in the OP ? Anyway, here's the answer:

The problem: during unzipping, the executable files in the game package lost their execute permission, so the app won't run.
Solution: if you still have the zip file, try unzipping it with The Unarchiver instead of the default archive utility. The Unarchiver tends to be better in preserving these execute permissions.
If you've already deleted the zip and don't want to download the 11 GB again, you can fix the permissions yourself in Terminal.

In Terminal, type 'chmod a+x ' without the quotes and drag the first executable in the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path to the executable file. Hit enter. Repeat for the second file.

To find the executables, right click on the game and choose Show package contents. Then go to Contents/MacOS. The file you are looking for is called BeinADIK. The second one (same name) is in Contents/MacOS/lib/darwinx86-64.

And has nothing to do with Big Sur. I've seen this happen on High Sierra as well, and with other games too.

OK, my bad, it seems I was lost in translation (which is kind of embarrasing considering my signature ). Anyway, in this case the situation is even worse written, as a co-signer is not allowed to dispose the money of the loan, which is what Maya says her dad is doing by withholding the funds (or threating her to do so) instead of paying the university fees. I mean, sticking with your example, the bank lend some money to your daughter, putting it in her account, or more probably just wrote a check for the car's seller so she never was in actual possesion of that money, as the loan was signed to finance that buy/sell operation. And obviously you never had any power in how that money was moved from the bank to its destination, and neither could you have stopped the whole operation after you signed as co-signer.

More explanations about how financials work in game's world are needed, considering an Economics student (Josy) doesn't seem to see anything wrong in daddy's evil plan. Of course all this could be just a huge bullshit due to the naivety and inexperience of the three characters involved (MC, Josy and Maya) and the threat would be easily dismantled after asking for an adult's help, but... well, you know.
