However, if you wish to keep being pedantic about it, how the hell do you think Brooks and Zucker/Abrahams have got away with it for so long? The million porn parody cartoons all over the net. Also, if they can't sue a porn company (which generates far more exposure and 'bed press' for the IP)...they sure as hell arent for a private individual.

He is not jumping any gun, he is actually being smart about it. Disney is known for going after small business because of copyright issues before. There is no such thing as too small for "the Rat".

There was no parody though. Of Twi'Leks or Star Wars in general. It was using a part of the "Hoose of Moose's" property without permission, and that hasn't worked out well for even non-profit remakes/mods of video games.
By making actual parodies, the most relevant and iconic of which would clearly be Spaceballs.
They aren't mainstream, and don't appear on mainstream platforms that can be freely accessed by people of all ages. On Steam, all it would need would be one user tag of "Star Wars", and it would gradually come to wider attention, including that of "The House".

No offense to Perv, but if they were being "smart about it", then they wouldn't have made her look like a Twi'lek to begin with, would they? Or named the species "Twi'll". If they thought there was even a remote possibility that there might be a problem with this, why did they do it in the first place? Because there's no way they didn't know what they were doing, especially since they also make a joke about it.

Funny thing to note, I went an entire run trying to not knock up Mia, to give James a chance, and MC still ends up being the one knocking her up.
So even if Thim manages to get some, the deck is heavily stacked against him long-term.

Played through for the first time. Great game, feels more immersive than SL.. to me anyway. Feels like there's more to the characters too, strangely drawn towards Lilly more than Eva.

Odd to change the appearance of the race... Lucas flim don't have precedent over how something looks. Maybe change the name to be very foreign from Twi'Lek...

They literally do "have precedent" over how something looks, because they own Twi'Leks as a fictional non-human race. Anything inspired by them in other fictional works can look similar, but not identical. That's theft of IP, breach of copyright law, plagiarism etc.
