how is there not a mod for this game already :WaitWhat:
It has in game cheats that allows easier play for those who don't want mini games or grind for cash. Don't really see a point or are you meaning like where it tells you what would happen if you choose a choice?

Last time i checked there was a complete tag without a complete story. Is this real complete though?
It's all in the changelog. The latest version adds epilogues for both endings so not really any gameplay to it. Everything regarding the actual gameplay was finished with the 1.0 update released in November. So the game was "complete" with it. Everything that might get added further will not add anything to the actual 'game' but rather fix issues and (possibly) add some minor stuff like artwork, credits, etc.

Dear developer.i got confused again by the both endings.
The first one I understand that Greg made Amelia pregnant. And greg was born.then they got on station. On station things where different from the original universe. And at the end what happened to Greg???Jack refused to answer Amelia. Will there another game????
And the second ending with Amelia(mother) and Rebecca and Lexi. You said to be continued
So I'm guessing there will be another game to continue both endings again
RIGHT????

I'm a big fan of both games... Keeping track of time travel and multiple universes is very tricky at times and is very tricky at the end of this game. For better or worst.

I loved the good ending, but I must say that the bad ending … I hope it's not canon. Did not like it that much.

I think you are confused because you think in terms of what happens in one universe has to follow a single time line. This is not how thing work in the games. Instead you should think of it from the perspective of a person that traveled through the universes such as the MC, Amelia and Rebecca. They all have their past and that remains constant for them. Whatever happened to them cannot be changed in their past. In the "good" ending (I don't really like this term, for me it's more like a "loop" ending) WW Amelia merges with SO Amelia, has a son and that universe remains unchanged - Megan hijacks M.A.L. causing Amelia, Jack and the MC to try to escape (where SO starts). This doesn't change anything for the MC, Amelia and Rebecca that are left behind in the WW universe. Even if something changes in their original universe it would not have any effect on them because any change would've created a different timeline which would have nothing to do with them.

The "bad" ending (or the "linear" one) sees them getting to a new universe that Megan chose for herself. She has sent the redhead and the MC to a specific time in a specific universe but Megan took a "detour" - went back to the SO universe, merged with Amelia, hijacked her body, married Jack, made Lana's life hell (she's Jack's daughter, so Megan essentially became her step mom), and then used Jack to build the machine and went to the same universe that she had sent you but a few years earlier, so she could prepare for your arrival - comission the ship and send it to the right place at the right time for you to get there. Now, if you think in terms that changing the events in SO's universe would have an effect on the people who got transported out of it and into WW's universe, this would create a paradox. Not necessarily for you, or Amelia, or Rebecca, but for Megan. After all Megan hijacked Amelia's body by merging her consciousness with Amelia's, married Jack and then if by changing her past, she changes her future, this would mean that she doesn't go in WW, doesn't build the new machine, doesn't go back in SO, so... couldn't change the past, right? A paradox.

Just think of everyone's time as linear for them. Up until this point in the story the MC, Amelia and Rebecca had a common timeline but Lana had another - she arrived in the WW universe some 20 years before you three, so for her it was different. Now you are the one with a different timeline than the rest - Amelia and Rebecca got to the station, figured out where and when you would arrive and traveled to the same universe but in an earlier point in time, so they can get to you in time and save you from the redhead.

Well, that sucks. Especially because of the unfinished Sophie quest line.

If I had your knowledge of 3D development and your resources, Sophie would get mc's dick first thing in the morning and last thing at night. In all her holes.
Also we get twins on the ship but can't fuck the both at the same time? What is this, porn blasphemy?
It feels as with the introduction of the second ship you lost all interest in the first one. If every character would have the quality and content as Amelia and Julia this game easily would deserve a 4 to 5 star rating.

There will be another game in the series, that's for sure. The only question is if it will be done after I finish i34 in about an year or I put i34 on hold, do the third game in the SO/WW series and go back to making i34 after that. I'll post a poll on Patreon in which I'll explain to my supporters what the game is planned to look like and ask them what their preference is. I've always said that the games that I make are a shared effort between me and my supporters, so it's only fair that they have a say in that. Now that the setting for the next game is clear (obviously it's a continuation of the WW ending where you're transported to the new universe), they can make an informed decision what they will enjoy more - the light-hearted i34 or the more story and gameplay heavy third game in the SO/WW series.
This is my first post on this forum, but I think your fantastic games deserve to be posted for the first time.

I enjoyed SO very much, and I have enjoyed WW too, they are two great games and of course I would love to see the adventures of Greg, Amelia, Rebecca and Lana again (that bitch destroyed my heart with her betrayal and when it is discovered that she leaves Greg in the vegetative state), but it would be great if it was a new adventure for them, and not the repetition of the SO / WW loop (Megan does bad things and we must foil her plans ... again... and only partially) I think the protagonists of your wonderful games , they could find some happiness (more to fuck all day), and that it was not again (for the third time too ...) the search for a missing Lana.

Perhaps it would be better to continue the story of the good ending (yes, it is a much better ending than the open ending), with a new adventure, a new challenge, but with something new, another story and not another chapter from the previous one. Anyway, that remains between you and your backers, indistinctly I will enjoy your next game, although the story is the continuation of the open ending.

You are a great content creator, and the stories you tell are much more than polishing solar panels, I hope any game you put out is the future with a smile. And my apologies for my English, it is not my native language.

Megan hijacked Amelia's body by merging her consciousness with Amelia's,
wait...megan hijacked amelia's consciousness? i thought bodies get merged too and that's why young amelia(SO universe) got pregnant.

Also we see young amelia(WW universe) disappear completely along with her body when merged with young amelia(SO universe). if consciousness is the only thing merging where did the body of young amelia(WW) go?

Also can megan ever split after merging or once merging is done they are merged permanently?

I had neither "knowledge of 3D development" nor "resources" when I started making the games. I'm a software developer, but I write code in strongly typed languages so my learning curve for Python/RenPy is the same (if not worse) as if I had no programming knowlege at all. The only thing you need to get you started is to think of a story, find the assets that fit, invest some money in buying them (a character alone is ~10-15 bucks + hair, clothes, etc. it's roughly $40 per character in an usable state), get a Patreon page started and whatever you get from there - invest in assets for the next version. SO was started on a cheap laptop with 1050Ti and ~200$ initial investment in characters and locations, so if I managed to do it, what's stopping you from making a game however you see fit?

When you do it though, you'll realize that the limitation is not "knowledge" or "resources" - it's time. A scene with ~20 animations takes about a week if you don't make the game as your primary job (because you can't really afford to quit your job and work solely on the game), so with 20 characters AND a story that has to be told, you either end up having some characters getting more focus than others, or you end up with release cycles that take months because you have to include equal amount of content for each character for every release. I've never been a "milker" and don't intend to become one, so every project that I do either at my job or for my games, has a scope from day 1. I might not always hit it but I try to get it done as close as possible - WW was scoped for couple of years, in reallity it took 3-4 months longer than that, which is 10-15% more, but still acceptable.

Thanks for your first post here! Well, There isn't much to do in the "good" ending for a next chapter. It's somewhat of a "and they lived happily ever after" ending with the MC and the girls living their life on the ships and Megan and the machine stranded at the bottom of the ocean. As for what happens back in the SO univese, there is some potential of making a "timeloop" game where you have the "basic" SO story from Amelia's perspective and she remebers things from what she learned about Lana and the old Amelia in the WW universe and tries to do things differently trying to get a different outcome, but this would require a re-make of SO (renders there are low-res, no animations, etc.) because you need to have that done before trying to introduce alternative paths, so it's not something I can do right now.

The other ending is the one having secrets, unanswered questions and some kind of suspence, so it's logical for it to be the continuation of the story. I'm a stong believer that not every chapter of a story needs to have a good ending or even revolve aroung the MC. As in real life things happen regardless of our actions and even though we try to change something, we might not succeed in doing so. And that's fine.

BTW, yesterday I posted this on my Patreon page:

poll.jpg

Hi all,

As mentioned before, I've received messages from some of you asking if it's possible to have i34 put on hold and switch back to making a game from SO/WW universe. I promissed to put it to a poll and I'll do that in a separate post, but first I want to give you some background on how and why I ended up starting i34. Some of you may know all of this since I've mentioned it before, but for the rest I'm going to summarize it in a single post so you can easily make your choice in the poll.

First of all, I intended to take a break from the SO/WW story and make a sci-fi game which had it's own story. I even wrote the general story and the first episode, but when I started looking for Daz3D assets in the sotres, I couldn't find enough of them that would match and create a consistent experience. It was going to be a game about a stranded ship that went through a wormhole and looking to get back home to Earth, meeting civilizations on other planets and space stations, upgrading their ship, building aliances and fighting enemies. The lore of the game would be that the ancient gods took some of their people when they left Earth and seeded the stars so you'd meet different human cultures (e.g. ancient greeks, egyptians, vikings, etc. but with advanced tech) as well as some alien ones and get different upgrades to your ship that would help you fight the not so friendly civilizations. There would be some form of optional resource management so those of you who enjoy those types of games will have the 'full' experience and those who don't would get the more VN-like experience of the game. Gameplay would be similar to what you see in i34 - episodes with story-driven gameplay followed by sandbox-driven gameplay where you can collect resources, fight enemies and enjoy repeatable events with the inhabitants of the planets that you visit.

But when I finished WW I realized that most of you like the SO/WW story and you'd like to see it continue in a future game, so I twisted one of the endings of WW to fit in that game which I already had mapped out. You, Amelia, Rebecca and Lexi will be the (initial) crew of the ship and you'll try to find your way back to Earth and figure out what Megan had planned when she came to this universe.

Most of you are probably asking "what has changed in the past two months that made you postpone this game for a year while working on i34 and you can start working on it now?" The answer is both "nothing" and "everything". Nothing because the reasons that made me postpone the game are still valid - there aren't perfectly matched environments in the Daz3D store for what I'll try to achieve. But the truth is that I don't know if there will be enough of them by the end of 2021 when I plan to have i34 finished and start working on this one. "Everything" because I realized that both you and me like SO/WW so much that we might be willing to compromize some of the consistency in terms of location appearances in the game in order to start the journey in this new universe sooner. Keep in mind though that this game will take longer than i34 (at least a couple of years).
Currently in the poll 80% are in favor of putting i34 on hold and starting the third game in the SO/WW series, but I'll keep it open till Sunday when I intend to release the update for i34 and after that I'll be working on whatever the end result of the poll is.

Didn't expect a reply with that much info. Just to be clear, I wasn't criticizing your work as a developer, matter of fact that'd be the point I'd praising you for. I played your first game until the point where Lana betrayed the mc because I was more interested in the voyeurism/big brother aspect of the game and I was very surprised to see you've already finished your second game. That puts you in the very small circle of trustworthy developers, even more so as it's not your full time job.

Wasn't aware you can buy those characters, guess I have to do some research on that. My focus is more on original art games and sadly that makes it impossible for me to create my own games without an artist. I do work on a mod for the game in my sig though and because I have quite a hard physical job I'm well aware time is the most valuable resource.

The reason for my response was the fact you consider the game finished even though the Sophie part feels very much unfinished. You didn't mention that and I guess it's because you're aware of it and just want to be done with. That's fine, it's your game but it's the one part of the game that feels unfinished. You introduce Sophie as a "forbidden fruit" and don't give the player the chance to eat it. And when we are forced to rush it, the fruit even remains untouched in the game. Because in the dice game with Victoria she's a virgin forever.

It's impossible to please everybody, I know that and as a developer you have to follow your own path or you may end up in a cluster fuck but in my point of view there is no reason to deny the player a harem in a harem game.

First, many thanks for those two games and the ending you added to WW. That makes much more sense now!
I straight went for the "good" ending because it is a bit more logical in my opinion. The MC knows that he'll probably get disconnected from the avatar once he orgasms. So fighting back actually doesn't make that much sense. And that leads to the "time loop" ending.
Actually I'd like to see that ending to be continued from a different perspective maybe. I know you've said this would require more time to set up because you need to redo nearly everything from the original SO but I would be fine if you take your time and go this path while you also work on your new game. Because the latter is what you originally wanted to do, correct?
I'm willing to give both new games a try and to wait a bit for the third game of this series until you are ready with the setup for the continuation.
The MC being stuck in a female avatar isn't that much fun for me at least. I for myself am not that much into those kind of things.

Sorry if my answer seemed too defensive. What I wanted to say is that after all WW is a story-driven game. There are characters that matter more than others and Sophie is deffinitelly not one of those that matter for the story. If it was a dating sim, then yes - you shouldn't consider it complete unless all characters have equal content but for a story based game, it's perfectly fine to have vastly more content for a certain character compared to another. As far as the story is concerned Sophie had a single purpose - a crew member inexperienced enough to be seduced by Evelyn and give her the access to the ship. If you ask me why is Julia more important than Sofie to have more content, well the answer is simple. She won almost all the patreon polls she participated in. Don't know why (she's definitelly not my favorite in terms of the secondary characters), but she and Daphnee were my patreons' favorites for some reason.

I'm not the creative type either, so everything you see in my games comes either from Daz3D's own store, Renderosity or Renderotica with a few touch-ups here and there like breast shapes, nipples, etc. I can't draw a human face even if my life depended on it, so my only option was to make it a 3D game (and tbh I prefer it that way - I'm not into drawn stuff myself).
