As a person with a Psychology degree, I'm sure CBT can be a form of therapy to a certain demography

Did the intro rat quest, turned it in and decided to work at the bar.

A man grabbed my ass so the bartender lady jumped the counter and shivved his ass. Then a tavern brawl started.

At the end of it my game crashed. 10/10 this game is amazing.

N.B. Yes, there are more recent versions. But the delay is because Eccma suggested I delay rather then stop because if I were to stop, someone a worse person than I would just take over and not give two flying fucks.

0.4.9.1 in two days, 0.4.9.2 another three after that.
And anyway, I prefer to delay anyway as it gives him time to fix any problems in the newer builds.

Yeah, I made it backwards compatible so to speak. I'm not even sure the diffs between 0.4.9.2 and 0.4.9.0 would break the game or not. This way we don't even have to find out.

There has only been two game save breakages since this game happened upon this site. 0.3.X.X -> 0.4.X.X and 0.4.5.5 -> 0.4.6.0. So ignore the outdated message text on your save screen. Mmkay?

Am I understanding you properly and that you would rather play in a window instead of Full Screen or is it that you want to play Full Screen and not a maximised window?

it suited me in a smaller window or in a non-fixed full screen, because now it always changes the monitor settings in the background and moves programs from the other monitor

Go to option and chose to play on window mode instead, you can chose the window resolution there.
Also, just to be sure, go to properties --> compatibility --> disable display scaling on high DPI settings

unfortunately it didn't help, this is my whole window after startup, the screen shot captured this window but I have it spread across the whole monitor

Try this:
Open the command window by hitting F10
Type in this command: $game_player.actor.remove_state(35) >z
This is give you the "incorrect code entry" sound but it still remove one stack of dirt for every press of the enter key.
Press F10 again to close the command window.

Aizeen, it sounds like you're looking for a 4:3 scale window (800x600). Unfortunately, the game doesn't support this resolution.
This section of the ini:

[Fullscreen++]
Fullscreen=0
FullscreenRatio=0
WindowedRatio=2

Has settings for the Windowed Resolution, none of which will likely give you what you want.
Setting WindowedRatio to 0 will give you a window the height of the monitor while not filling the screen.
1 is extremely tiny while 2 is the default. Anything over 2 will default to 0 on loading the game, which is 1920x1040 windowed.

Try changing the option while in-game instead, title screen menu option may be bugged. If all else fail, close the game and double click ResetRMsetting.reg in your game folder.

The in-game menu gives the exact same resolution options as the main menu. Three of them total - 360, 720 and 1040.

I only have a resolution of 480 without the possibility of change in fullscreen, without fullscreen it is only possible at 440
