Hi, so how long is the short-story? I don't really like prequel's and this one doesn't even have choices but if it is small enough I might actually read through it.

I wont lie I saw the game got an update got excited then saw it was just the vss and the excitement vanished. Its cool and all the dev is building this universes lore but I prefer having the main story finished before branching off into side stories.

I remember the dev saying pretty much the same a while ago, they even asked suggestions and we talked about a codex for the main game as a way to explain lore, either way as long as the patreons and the dev enjoyed it I'm okay with waiting a little while longer for the main game

i agree. its all very cart before the horse kinda thing. if they want to expand the lore, find a way to integrate it into the main project or save it for afterwards and create other VN's within the same universe. all these small off-shoots just feel like minor distractions when they could be turned into projects that would add substantially to the devs' prestige after the main story is done. at least then a thirst would have been created within the fanbase for more.

personally, i have no time or interest in these side projects and i am already forgetting the main story. all seems a pity to me as i was enjoying this at one time
Working on Merging all the short stories in to the Main game, will probably be done this weekend

I treat Side Stories like this almost like small flashback sequence in films.
We all know the MC & Sammy. One of them is just remembering back to how they met & it triggered a flashback to show us what they remember.
Batman remembers his parents being killed & has flashbacks.
It's a commonly used medium to portray memories of the character we know, giving more depth to their character, so doesn't really count as cart before horse from a story telling perspective.

I get your point, but lets use your analogy of Batman (Movie?) : So each 3 months you get to see 5 minutes, would you be happy with that or might you think maybe the flashbacks can wait and that way I can see the whole main story sooner?
