The quality for this game is top notch. I'm surprised not many know about this game yet.
Tnx!

Is it mandatory to romance both sisters? I'm really not interested with the older daughter, but would love to pursue the younger one.
(...)
Is there a younger sister only route?
Yeah im in the same path like zetsupetsu too, only here for the brick house girl
Sadly, there isn't and won't be such a path. Basically, it would require me to write two entirely separate main storylines. Or three really, to satisfy those that'd prefer a Macy only path (and there's a few of those around as well). Or to think of it in another way: it would basically reduce my efficiency by two-thirds, as only one third of the players would see any given path (assuming equal distribution of the choices), and that seems awfully wasteful, seeing how it's already all I can do to keep development with this one combined path for the main LIs in a reasonable timeframe.

It'd probably be whole different case if this were one of those sandbox harem things where each girl camps out in her own room until you come by to lewd visit her, and hardly ever interacts with the other characters, but it's not.

As a single dev, it's just not something I can afford to do with the one resource I'm always short on, which is time.

IMHO it's the interplay between the sisters that makes their dialog stand out and sets the writing here apart from so many of the VNs, even most of those widely considered exceptional. If it ain't broke, don't "fix" it. Besides it's your story tell it as YOU choose.

Exactly. It was the writing that made me fall in love with some "different looking" characters.

I appreciate the dev actually replying in this thread!

I understand where your coming from.

As for single sister only routes, if the player chooses to do so, might I suggest an alternative approach where the main storyline stays intact, but the scenes are hidden instead?

This way you don't exactly need to make separate paths for each girl, but only hide the intimate scenes with the MC if they choose to stay platonic with one daughter, but the story will still remain linear.

Maybe a change in dialogue in some parts as well, but no need to divert into three entirely different branches. Just giving a suggestion.

Cheers, and yeah, that's the approach I take for the "Macy and Denise locked out" route (where both are locked out). Basically, that cuts every bit where the MC is somehow involved in a lewd/romanctic situation/conversation with them, or conversations about him. Some conversations are modified there to shift it into story of exploration and growing romance between just the two girls.

For a while, there were separate lock-out for each girl which I tried to keep going for as long as possible. However, storywise I found that I couldn't keep that up somewhere in chapter 3 I think, as Denise is the main motivator for driving many of the advances between the MC and Macy, and that in itself is her motivation, and without both on board, all that fell apart. So rather than spinning up three distinct, mutually exclusive story lines, the separate lockouts merged at that point.

One answer to implement your solution would have been to abandon the combined path and and just have two separate paths for each girl, which you can then just show, or hide, depending on the choice. In theory, that would mean either or both paths can be taken, but in practice, it would mean almost zero interaction between them and going to some variation of the "girls camping in their separate rooms until you visit them" scenario I mentioned in the previous post, and that would suck all the life out of it and cripple the storyline up to that point.

As you can tell, some thought has gone into it already over the course of development. :D

Isn't it fun how it all starts as a fictional story and before you know it your characters become alive inside your head and you constantly think and rethink every possible outcome and what is best to progress the story further in your daily life?

We could still make some spinoff stories with Macy and Denise doing separate things like "Macy and the Bear" or "Denise and the Banana Band" or my favorite "The Adventures of Captain Jack Swallow"

No? Ok i let myself out......

True that. Writing for Macy or Denise is never hard. All I have to do is set up a situation; they'll take it from there, and all I have to do is keep up with them while I'm writing it down.

Ah...yes...
I sometimes ask myself : How to deal with all the characters in my head that were created by games/movies/series/books and are as real as myself to me....

Well you love 'em, of course! Protecting Macy against any bear, Denise againt any banana. They're with us now and always, ain't that wonderful ? :D
But if there's a possibility of spinoffs sequels, I'm in. Can't wait to play "Ninja Macy Bears a Grudge : Electric Boogaloo" or "The Chronicles of Denise : The Dad, The Fruity Cum and The Shower"

The numbers of Spinoff's are endless. As long as i get a "Conan" Spinoff all is good.

Many of the world's greatest writers have said that in their own ways. The characters take on their own lives, and the author becomes a chronicler, documenting where the story goes rather than directing it.

It is the joy of writing. You can sketch out 100% of your story beforehand and try to follow it like a red line. Character personality will without a doubt take over and toss your plan out the window while you have no problems writing anymore you face another problem. The day only has 24 hours..... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I _may_ be able to provide a starting point, but can't actually say what teh whole issue is. The directory " 'Image' u'images/ " seems wrong, but no clue why. Perhaps this helps to give a starting point.

Failed to allocate SDL_Surface
A quick google of "Failed to allocate SDL_Surface" seems to point to driver issues. Check if you've got the latest drivers for your graphics card installed, and if not, do so. If you have the latest installed, consider uninstalling and then re-installing as the Windows update might have broken something?

Maybe usefull:

Hey.
I checked my drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled them the "Failed to allocate SDL_Surface" error stopped, but now I had two different errors

I tested other games and they are all working.

Hi! I think it's the need of codec, so it can decode WebP format of images. Don't know which is it..
