I have been waiting for this one to be released, on one hand, I get that the chapter had to be separated into parts, but I still felt that more information about the characters would have been nice, but this is not a problem we just have to wait for the next part to get a better picture.

I'm one of the players that enjoys a good story and perhaps I spend too much time analyzing the stories of the games I played, but I do prefer when the game offers more than just naked bodies, however, I think people need to tone down this new trend of asking for "Slow burns" on every game that comes out, sexual content doesn't need to be the end goal of the story it can be another step in the development of the relationships of the characters.

I say this because I know this dev its part of the WTHI team and that game had this exact problem of dragging the story too much and making excuses to avoid having sexual content with Monica, I don't know if this dev only work on the art of that game (I think he did) but I only ask that people keep in mind that a poorly made "slow burn" is just as bad as a fuck fest.

Exactly this. In an incest game that is only about getting together with the family girls it kinda makes sense you have to blueball them and also add a stairway to heaven to keep players coming back and you often see those games end as soon as the fun has finally started.

In a game where the story rules you can have the sex as soon as makes sense with the background of the characters. This can be episode 1 especially if sexually active characters that have been engaging in sex before or episode 10 if not and they have big problems with the taboo. Just most devs fall into the trap they set up such a big taboo it is no more realistic the characters will engage in an incestuous relation in episode 10 or 15 after a stairway to heaven as in episode 1 without one. Remember it must make sense from the background of the characters that they would engage in such a relation unless you add forced rape, magic or special pills. A character that is not interested does not just change their mind cause you do the dishes and have a magic dick.

I wondering if it's worth changing Episode 1 - Part 1 now with a patch to add in some back story to each character and define who they should be or wait till part 2 to do it. Also I only work on WTHI art, I've not touched the story, although, I think the slow burn worked perfect, I was a fan before joining the team and loved every aspect of it & I'm not just saying that because I work on it xD

yes, if there is no NTR or at least it is optional and or avoidable like any other fetish there may be, I can put aside the sadness that there is no harem (although it would be better if there were harem sometimes when the LI have good stories or good personalities I have a hard time choosing 1 on those games and you have to go for several save for each LI )

This "Childhood friend" sound like a real bitch. Before i get too biased against her though I'll play this to see what's the cause. I can't be too judgemental without knowing if it's legit or not. This is a very important thing, in my opinion. Too many games go this route but the reasoning for it be too half hearted and left behind like it never existed after a few updates.

As you can see after typing all that above that I'm very interested to see where the game is going to go and can't wait to check this out.

Well i liked it, and i also like the future plans and tags mentioned in the comments earlier by the dev. But i do agree that if this is gonna be a more romantic style VN that the groping scene at night is probably best left out, not into that non consentual stuff myself either. A sexual relationship developing true character interaction and story events looks like a much better route to take for this game and it seems that was the original plan anyway.

The only other thing missing is choices off course, but again already been adressed by the dev and hopefully this doesn't stay as just a kinetic novel in the future

Yeah I agree, my original plans didn't have any groping, but like I said, it was my ( kinda rubbish ) attempt to make it more lewd, but by doing so it took something away from the game. I am looking into making it more of a multi-choice game, just need to figure some things out.

• I really dislike it when I need to define relationships in a game I've never played, with no idea about how the story plays out, and zero info about the characters, or how old they are. Need a hint.
• Input boxes for character names are difficult to know when, without constant mouse wheel action to go back and forth.

Thanks for the input, I'll look into describing the characters a little better and add in a little backstory to them so it's more clear who's who.

I agree, I do have a plan for adding the sex in, I think the way I've done it also opens the door for future relations, I just need fix the groping stuff and go back to my original plan of mc starting off as the kind of guy who isn't all that interested in the main girls to begin with.

Ok that sounds like a slower burn. just remember not to make them dislike incest so much that they will never do it in reality. In a game with incest there should always be a reason why the characters would not only accept it but even prefer it or feel a need for it. If just incest bad, there are enough other people out there they would never go for it, even if you lock them up on an uninhabited island.

To start with ( the cest who shall not be named ) isn't really on anyone's mind, their just a normal family at the start, but I do have an event planned that introduces them all to it, I just need to make sure I do it right, if I do it the wrong way it could come across a little odd and some might not like it but I swear it'll be worth it & I should note it doesn't involve any NTR

My original draft for episode 1 was a long longer than this and it was going to go into so much more detail about each character. Due to working full time on WTHI I had to cut the release back drastically so I ended up splitting the episodes into 5 parts.

My original plan was that the MC wasn't going to be the perv we see in every game, I originally wanted him to over time develop feelings for each character and we'd go from there, my fear with splitting episode 1 into 5 parts was the game wouldn't seem lewd enough so in an attempt to make it more "porny" I added in the parts about looking up Lisa's skirt and fondling Grace on the sofa which I fear may have taken away from the nice guy Mc I was going for.

As for your tastes:

1) MC will not be a jerk, or at least not a perverted jerk who only wants to force everyone to fuck him, I will need to make him a tad more perverted just to make the game more lewd, but probably nothing your average perv doesn't go through on a daily basis
2) In part 1 there are no choices, but rest assured, I do plan on making so people have multi-choice options to shape the game and characters the way they want to.
3) The will be 0 corruption, this is purely a love story which I know some people won't like, but I ( as in me the dev ) have no interest in corruption in any way.

So far I've shown nothing for the main story, again this is due to having to cut the game down so much for the 1st release.

Honestly the sleeping grope scene was a last minute addition, originally I had her asleep at the kitchen counter and MC puts a couple bottles in the bin and then carried her to bed, but like I said, tried to make it more lewd. I'll probably remove the grope part in part 2 and keep the pussy/boob flash.

A writing tool to consider is allowing the player to *choose* to see (or not!) fantasies, thoughts, or dreams of the lewd stuff the MC "might" want. Or not.

Then, the lewd bits are available if the player wants them but they are not integral to the MC's persona, they allow you and the players freedom to write/read what you wish, and also there is little-or-no plot fallout if the MC or other characters need to act in certain ways in the rest of the story--because nobody actually *did* things yet that send the story too far off the path(s) planned.
