I really like the story and plot of this game it's pretty unique and interesting the MC also seems pretty versatile and you can shape his personality quite a bit which I like. Though four different kinds of points and a skill tree for each of them is quite ambitious but if the dev can pull it off I think this could be pretty good.

I also loved how when you are meditating the different skills talk to you and have different persaonalities it reminds me a lot of Disco Elysium which is always a good thing. I'm not usually into that kind of content but I loved how you could hate fuck Emma that was really satisfying :KEK:

If you play until you see the available skill set, I think you will get a good idea about the (very wide range of) kinks we can expect at some point!
I know right I think it's probably going to start a shitstorm in this thread when people see it :KEK:.

Well, it does look like everything is completely optional and in the hands of player choices. But then there are always some that complain about some content being in the game at all, because it means the dev is "wasting time" on content "no one wants" :rolleyes:

True. I was happy with the options my skills gave at the end. Though I will admit it is a wide variety of possible kinks so I just hope the dev is able to keep everyone happy.

Not digging the black outlines tbh, looks like an incomplete attempt at doing cell-shading.

Hopefully they're either removed, refined or in the best of cases, a proper cell-shading is applied as time goes on.

Either way, to the watchlist for now!

Yeah I wasn't really a fan of them either. It seems a shame to use something like that since you lose all the detail in the models and it makes the renders look kind of flat and lifeless. I hope he is able to tweak it a bit more in future to avoid those issues.

Hi everyone! Let me try to answer some questions in no particular order:

The art style started to be a consequence of having a shitty pc to render. Using those shaders I can actually render images and make a game, I wouldn't if I tried to stick with photorealistic renders. That being said, the style really grew on me and I really like it right now. However, I obviously understand if that's not to everyone's liking.

There's still some experimentation going on though, and I'm always learning new things. For example, regarding the outlines. I've also reached the same conclusions that I like them thinner and minimalist. It was also the first critique I got over here when I started sharing the game in a development tread.

Unfortunately, that wasn't how I started making the first renders. I tried to fix the worst ones, and it gets better as the game progresses, but there were too many renders to do anew to fix them all. But I don't think it's too bad right now and by the middle of the chapter it should be pretty consistent with the style I'll be using going forward.

how femdom heavy is this?
It's only the first chapter. It serves to present the characters, themes and mechanics of the game. There are a couple of sex scenes and the player can choose to be more dominant or more submissive. However, as you can imagine for a first release, it's only a tease for what's to come. So, at the moment, there's only light femdom (or light maledom if you choose the other path).

Then, you can be the one cucking the other dudes.

That is a very legitimate concern that I have to admit is also on my mind. I think I have a good plan to deal with everything that I want to have in the game in a way that is achievable, well done, and won't take me forever to release an update, or get over my head. But my plans have failed before. We will see.

Am I the only where it breaks during the meditation?
This game uses some shader effects to make some scenes a bit more immersive, like the meditation. Please go to the options, switch off the shaders and try again. If they are not compatible with your pc they should be switched off anyway, but I guess something might have gone wrong. Let me know if the problem persists and I’ll try to fix it for you.

Thanks for words of encouragement and positive comments. It took a lot of time and effort to learn everything I needed to get here and then even more time and effort to make the game. I didn't even know how to code or use daz3d before starting this project. It's really nice seeing that some people are enjoying it (y)

Sounds good to me! I really like the wide range of choices you plan to give the players. If you have a plan, stick with it, and don't let some guys with very narrow preferences, and insecurities about any other content, talk you out of it!

I will be honest I had a feeling that it was lack of strong hardware that made you go that route. I think it's pretty smart to try something like that and also carve out your own art style but I thought it was far to heavy and odd looking in certain scenes especially with Jamie. If you are able to refine it a bit more I think it could help you stand out quite a bit from other games.

I'm just wondering do you have anymore plans to have the different skills talk to the MC a bit it's one of the things I loved about Disco Elysium.

I’ll see what I can do to get the style a bit better. There’s certainly still a lot for me to learn.

I have never played Disco Elysium, but I will check it out. It might be a good source of inspiration because I do have some plans to have a bit more interaction between the personalities and the MC. But I want to try to keep it reasonably grounded and realistic, the idea is not for people to start to think that the MC is schizophrenic and hears voices. One of my inspirations for that was this , although that is more about the “5th personality”. I don’t know how this stuff is done in Disco Elysium, but I’m super curious now.

I think if you could find a way to have the black lines be less intense it could help you a lot. I noticed that like you said it got a lot better when you got further into the game but I suppose it's something that can always be tweaked as you get more experience.

I have never played Disco Elysium, but I will check it out.
To be honest I'm surprised at that I thought that's where you got the idea from. Without going off topic too much all I'm going to say is it's a really good game and would be worth checking out for inspiration especially with the steam sale happening right now.

Not a fan of black outlines, but apart from that it was a GREAT first release! I play chess so I really liked all the games featured (I let Emma win the bet though in my main playthrough), but I think Jen had some better option during 2nd guess (I'm not sure, cause I didn't analyze it [not the reason I play adult games after all], but that's what I thought after 1st glance). Story is nice, mechanics are varied, which is awesome. Characters are well developed, though I hope that characters other than Emma will get their time to shine too. Looks-wise I like Bri and Kim the best, though character-wise for now I kinda dig Deb the most even if we don't know much about her yet (shame she has a bf, I'm all for femdom, but cuckolding is a no for me).

I like a skill tree, though I'm not sure how many points we will be able to get so for now I've developed only 4 skills even though I have enough points for more just to be sure I'll get the 50 point skills I want the most (plus I feel having unspent points could be used when particular situation will arise [with the little help of rollback]). I wonder how much into BDSM/humiliation territory we'll go, but given the skill list it seems quite far. I'm also quite curious about every LI's kink (I'm not fan of hatefuck tbh, but I left 2nd save with it, cause I hope it will serve as a door for more aggressive SM scenes in the future, but at the same time I'm afraid that it may hinder MC in his pursuit of other women that I find more to my taste [though if their kinks won't be compatibile with mine MC's then I guess the sacrifice was for naught]), so good job with making everyone interesting.

And of course the story is quite interesting too and well thought out. It seems quite realistic and coupled with different game mechanics it always stays fresh and engaging (I'm a big fan of adventure games, so I wouldn't mind some logical puzzles in vein of kink-searching one for example). And I also got a little bit of Disco Elysium vibe btw.

That was a longer post than I've planned, but yeah I really enjoyed playing the game. I definitely stick around for more.

For me personally best new game I have played here this year. Love how much potential is there to shape the MC's personality. Like others it reminded me of Disco Elysium.;)
Btw initially I gave the game a try for the femdom tag, and even though there isn't much sexual content yet, I really like the slow, somewhat realistic pacing of the game and the potential you have to shape your MC into a submissive. Same seems to be true for dominant players. Choices to shape your MC are quite obvious too, so I hope there won't be much whining from maledom players who somehow end up with submissive MCs. ;)

Only criticism I had was also with the black shades, especially in the characters faces. It got way better towards the end though. Will check your Patreon now and hope you will be able to upgrade your equipment soon.
