Incest is sex in the first or second level of relationship (ie. blood relatives, which are sisters, parents, grandparents).A parent's sibling and their children are in the third level and not actual blood relatives (SO NOT INCEST). Sex with your aunt/uncle if they are not your parent's sibling is OK too since they are not blood relatives either.
There are countries (and US states) where sex between cousins/non-familiar aunts and uncles is considered incest (at least, in social terms), but it doesn't make it so and those countries and states need to read up on the facts.
I know lots about this because I am actually educated in it.

According to the biologists, mating between cousins is fine. It's the "closer" pairings where you run into inbreeding problems. (e.g. siblings, half-siblings, nieces and nephews, et cetera) Of course, biologists also recognize that social rules are not necessarily the same as biological rules.
The real wildcard in pairing is unreported relationships. You may think your wife is unrelated, but she might actually be your sister from an adulterous affair. That is one reason why U.S. marriage licenses require a genetics test.

No it isn't and unless Patreon rewrites biology it stays that way.
Direct relatives is considered incest in terms of biology as it increases the chance of birth defects significantly. Having a child with your cousin also has a risk for the same outcome but it is not much higher than having a child with someone outside the family.
BUT that should not mean that constantly marrying cousins is a good idea. Ask the Habsburg Family about that one xD

From memory, most of the new things happen after you close the game, and open it back up.
I don't think you have to change your system time / date or anything, just rebooting the game will give you new stuff.

Using laws of a specific country (which aren't intended for any use other than defining rules to be followed by its citizens) as basis for real-world [social/biological] terms definition is a crap idea, just so you know.
It's because of this that half the internet thinks being attracted to a girl who'll become 18 in a few hours counts as pedophilia (just because age of consent law says she can't have sex… and in a specific country even… or rather, parts of it – and in almost all of them even that limit only applies to specific cases).

Right.. Well.. I'm from the US.. Plus my post also pointed out the FORUM rules, not just the laws of the US..
I don't really care what other countries laws are around a subject.. US is where I am and that's the rules I follow in RL..
