I think they might have an idea cuz they know their story and possibly they mentioned before, but even without hard number we can have a pretty clear way to visualize the story progression in easy way with the way the club is set-up.
From the game description too it seems it will end after all the club stuff finishes up and tied together nicely.
So play it and see where it ends and you will have a feel of how much is there knowing the focus is the club
Five chapters, split between the prologue and the length of the exhibition.

Chapter 5: Week 4
Plus, some epilogues.
Seems I was instinctually close to the correct point, when I answered a post pages ago that PC was probably 30-40% done and we could look forward to a lot good stuff more.
Besides, epilogues look promising, meow!Just finished playing. Whoever wrote Killian's lines is a fucking god. His interactions with the MC is just pure gold!

I'm actually really glad there's a clear end planned out. I figured as much with how the contest was set up but you can never be sure. Some games get prolonged and bloated so much it can sour the entire thing, I'd much rather see the game end strong and see a new project started up.
Oh! so we are right on the smack dab middle heh, good to know and I think that things are gonna escalate and become even more better from here on.
Can I just say that I absolutely love that the writing and plot is so solid in this game? Really feels like a visual novel with porn elements rather than a porn game with visual novel elements. It's always nice to be able to play a MC that's not a complete piece of shit. Also if Edwin doesn't get femdom done to him ima be sad :c

Kathleen and Veronica are pretty much two types of dom in the game, so you got that covered.
Love the dev for keeping incest away from this game, MC's mom should be respected. But i think it's better if dev make her less hot.

Agreed. I feel a bit guilty for saying this, but I actually look forward to the flashbacks of Edwin's mum in the porno, she's so hot.

Just started playing last night and love it. My first thought when I woke up this morning was "I wonder what happens next in Pale Carnations?"

I really enjoy incest games and as I mentioned early on in this project I would have loved to see a corrupted MC go after mom... but that being said, incest is not the direction the devs want to go in and I 100% support their choice. This game is so fantastic and I would hate to see them change their vision to pander because it might screw with the quality of the overall project. I look forward to seeing how this project unfolds and I hope they have so much success that they continue on additonal projects afterwards. Ignore the haters, keep up the awesome work and enjoy your success. Best to the both of you.

I agree with you. I mentioned before, that there are one or two fetishes depicted in the game already, which I dislike and speedskate through, but this does not take away from the games quality.
