There are some hints as to whether or not a Ci-en post has a new version or is just talking plans if you don't read Japanese or have a machine translator handy.
The 話(はなし/Hanashi) kanji at the end of the headline means talk or story, in this context she's talking of plans and at the end of the page you can also see pink border accompanied by a gift box surrounding a "Join the free plan" with a Follow button (in Japanese of course) and on posts with a version update you'll see under that a yellow border with "Pay 500 yen to access game" in it.
As for the plan notes itself: It looks like we'll get ether everything on the 24th, or on the 24th and 28th in 2 parts with updates to the kraken boss, tweaks and changes to maps, textures, etc.; a intro and tutorial segment in part 1 and ninja costume animations in part 2 along with some other stuff I'm no doubt missing.

Does anyone know how to remove status effects and repair clothes? I tried the gold dust and sewing kit, but they seem to have no effect. Sorry if it's a dumb question or has already been answered.
havnt played in a long time but iirc you just had to use them from your inventory i think? if it didnt work or you already tried, you could try sleeping in a bed or something? i havnt played in a long time so i dont really remember what you had to do. Sorry if i wasnt much of help.
In the options you can change if you want clothing damage and status effects to be irreversible or not
Seems like there was a new update i missed. Played through what was new and it was great. I do want to know if i'm missing any items available in the current version

Thanks for the help.
Now i just gotta find wherever this crystal is. Feel like i should give up looking for it, its taking me way to long to find it.

The dev mentioned that she hasn't finished the Ninja costume support for the "Makai Enemy Ninja costume" (Google TL), yet.

so is 90% of all the humanoid-looking creatures all female? if so then I lost the interest that this brought.

Relatable, but yes, all the current humanoid based enemies are all female.
Currently only creatures are males. And as far as I'm aware, that will probably stay the same up to, and post-release if applicable.
