fuckin' hell, this game is amazing, it really gives a similar vibe to haley's story, and i love it. hope to see this game to it's completion, would be extremely disappointing to see a game of this caliber being abandoned.

Thanks, yeah that sex scene I just found uncomfortable, I'm not a fan of manipulation either by males or females.IMHO the writing improves substantially starting in Chapter 2. The MC is no longer forced to avoid the issues with Jaye, so the game becomes much less about forced drama and more about how you choose to handle the current situation. That made the MC a lot more palatable so I was able to it settle in and enjoy the good character work and continued (if slow) development of the main plot. There's still an unskippable sex scene that I very much wanted to skip in Chapter 2 (though at least it was a flashback), but otherwise the game has corrected most of my major concerns from the early game.
I'm hoping the trend continues!
I'm no expert, but my take is that Jaye and Tara are closer to platonic friends at heart and the MC is just cluelessly projecting his preconceptions onto their relationship. As usual.

I enjoyed the scene where Mallory visits the main character at night.
I was initially disappointed with her plan to use us as her sexual training wheels, but things quickly changed when we were allowed to tell her that "Feelings and intimacy are interconnected". That managed to breathe some much needed romance into the game. I half expected the scene to end with the main character telling her that if she ever did want to make a play for Boston's most eligible bachelor, he would be damn lucky to have her. But we never really got the chance since she ran off in a hurry. Maybe some other time we will get to use a similar line as a sappy callback later.
I haven't been trying to min/max the relationship stats on my main playthrough because I find powergaming to be more like work than actual fun. As a result, there were a few Mallory points that I missed out on because I've been trying to work with Jaye in a civilized manner (while Jaye has been breaking her promises and snooping through our private possessions). Curiosity did get the better of me in the end, and I replayed the game a few different ways to see what would change.
I do appreciate the variety in the game, especially with how you can either cooperate or compete with Jaye, but it still feels as if we are being pushed too hard towards Jaye. For example, I chose to work with Jaye to retrieve the package together as a sort of team building exercise, but Jaye uses it as a chance to grind up against the MC like a cat in heat. Our options are to do nothing, to flirt with her, or to grope her. There's no option to try to get her to stop, or even a chance to tell her off after we have escaped. But of course, Jaye can straight up elbow you in ribs and tell you off if you try something inappropriate with her. So the double standards continue.

Either I didn't get it, or I inadvertently missed something, but the MC has not (yet), to my knowledge, reacted to the stain Jaye left on his cushion after mastrubating, while reading his diary in his cabin. Is this stain going to have any importance in history or is it just a trick of the DEVs? Does anyone have any info on this? Please, light my lantern ...
while it hasn't been mentioned outright, that stain has caused mc to had a dream with Jaye because of that, the one that caused mini me almost high five Jaye when mc was on his way to the bathroom, and i think it should've been enough, using it more than that wouldn't really been logical imo, i mean it's just a little stain, not that significant of a thing, and irl would completely evaporated in matter of hours

a quick question to anyone who might have answer, apparently Jaye also made an appearance in leap of faith, are the dev friends or something? it's the first time i ever saw another vn character appear in another game, not just as quick mention/cameo but like a full blown appearance with dialogue and stuff, also i wonder if the appearance there would somehow impact Jaye in this game.

It was a cameo, a homage between the devs of both games. Jaye talk about meeting Lexi with Tara and send her the pic.
It's not the first time something like that happens. In fact it's not even the first time another VN's character appears in LoF. But as far as Jaye in LoF is concerned, there's really no impact within this game.
The flight attendant in this very game is also from another VN.
It's just tributes and cross-promotions amongst developers.

I am confused about the 'cest tag. I mean technically there's no 'cest in game since Jaye is not even blood related in any way and she's a step sister by affinity. And, as far I know, Mal is not Alex's sister too and there's no scenes with the mom so... why is that there...

Well... There are multiple variations on the issue. In my country, a relationship between step siblings is not classified as incest, but they can't marry, because legally, adoptive child's are treated as blood related for all their legal rights, even marriage limitations.

So I've played through the game twice (once 'pure', once with a walkthrough), but I still have something like 23 locked achievements. Is there a guide for that somewhere, or are those locked for future chapters?
Also yeah, this is pretty good; I'm liking that there's basically only two LIs that are push/pulling the MC instead of way more than that. Well, three if you count the stalker.
