That's kinda understandable, when they first started there's a chance that they already have some translation being finished or almost done before they launch, of course they'll have backlog of games to release. Translating a game is a really hard work that takes time, i wouldn't call them lazy because they don't release as frequent as they use to but more if the translation quality is bad
Yes but they are hogging games in their to-do-list and that means nobody else will translate them. If someone plans to make a fan translation, but then they see the title they were working on being picked by Kagura, they'll give up. And that fucking sucks because they have games on their upcoming list which have been sitting there for well over a year now with still no estimated release date in sight.
I'm eagerly looking forward to OneOne's Samurai Vandalism, but ever since Kagura announced that they will translate it I'm forced to depend on them since there's zero chances that anybody else will do it since they already claimed it. They should only announce a upcoming release weeks before they actually release it, not this bullshit.
It's irresponsible otherwise, I don't care that they take their time, I care and it pisses me off that they fill their upcoming releases list with titles and thus discourage anyone else from translating them.
That in my opinion, is lazy, greedy and irresponsible. They can do whatever they want, they can take as much time as they like, but for fuck's sake stop claiming games if you're not planning to release them anytime soon, scummy move in my opinion.

C'mon guys, it's not that bad. The MTLs are understandable enough, and that's the relevant point. Without MTL, we would rarely have a translated game. I think the constant complaints are pointless. If you don't want to play it, it's easy to just ignore it.
The problem is, actually nobody needs a MTLed game. The one who want to play a MTL game download a auto translator, run it and play the game seconds later. No need to waste the server space with more garbage.

I respectfully disagree with that statement. If that were true, we wouldn't have dozens of pages for translation requests.

based on the description is it like a game over rape thing where once you get dicked, instant game over? or is it just saying that and you can end up as the village bicycle as a different ending? or do they approach the "I've had literally every orfice filled with cum except my vagina, henceforth I am a virgin"

A little question to moderators/uploaders: since it doesn't seem like this MTL flood will stop anytime soon, is there a way to see what games will be uploaded in the coming days/weeks? I have 3-4 translation (not MTL-assisted) projects in various stages of completion (not to mention, lots of games I plan to do in the near future). The thing is, if a thread with an MTL gets made before I'm done, I'm sure it will negatively affect my motivation to continue working on it, hence my question.

Translating scripts breaks the game, so sometimes some remnants of Japanese are left, like status and names, but that's something minor.
Holy shit, the standards here are dropping lower and lower. You have to translate scripts inside the RPG Maker itself, but clearly it's not something this so called translator is able to do.

The game isn't actually completely translated. Menues, names of items in dialogues and locations are left in Japanese and it's makes it damn hard to figure out what to get and where to go. Which is damn shame, 'cause i started the game and feels really really good.

Can whoever 'translated' this actually translate the important bits or edit in some clear directions or notes, because this game is literally unplayable If you want to spend less than an hour wandering around trying to go places or do things and only having the vaguest clue of what to do to progress. I've played for about two hours now and only gotten the recollection memories from the butterfly in the beginning and letting an old man grope me in the bar. Aside from those everyone else demands quantities of 'Japanese text' Items and who the fuck knows where to get 'Japanese text' items.

Ok... instead of asking how shit the translation is, cause is going to be shit, i'll ask how much narrative driven is this game. It doesn't really matter if translation is shit if the dialogs are mostly porn dialogs, and the plot is virtually non existant.
But a story driven game inwhich i'm supposed to give a fuck about what's going on aside the porn, and with dialogs that make sense, is all another matter.

ah yes i remember this guy. art always looked decent but games were never more than your average rpg and the mashine english made it unplayable. idk about this one but looks the same so i will most likely pass unless reviews tell me otherwise

Never a fan of normal MTL, if it's edited and readable then that's fine. The art looks nice but I'll have to pass.
Just want to show my appreciation for putting MTL in the thread title, and thanks for the share, I hope those you download it enjoy it. :)

This is game is unplayable. You'll be told to go to <Japenese Text>, collect 10 of <Japanese Text> from monster <Japanese Text> found at <Japenese Text>. Even the hints for the H-events are in <Japanese Text>. Bad MTL is one thing but this is a whole 'nother level.
