im starting this game and realize is a sequel but not like a sequel sequel, do i have to play spaced out first?

When I click on it, it just pops up the code in a different tab. So I copied and pasted it to a text file. Converted it to RPY. Nothing happened.
EDIT: Got it. Once you load into an actual playthrough, click the "i" in the top right.

Does anyone know if its possible to remove the stupid eat/sleep/clean stats?

Right click on the file, then "save as"... and rename it to only quests_ui.rpy , remove all digits and symbols before it. Then put it into /game folder.

I'm wanting to enjoy this game but not sure If I playing it right. I get the occasional Icons (star ) but then nothing for while. do I just need to advance time until I get an icon appearing or do I have to be at specific locations for the story to advance?
You are on the rihgt way. The star indicates progression of the story event, so if you see it - go for it. Olso there are symbols for repeatable events. There is no time limits, so you can advance time whenever you want, usualy after get bored by exploring locations and repeatable events(sandbox). You can freeze your stats using laptop in your cabin to skip boring grind. In the middle of the game there is one or two events which demand sleeping in you cabin at night to be trigered, and there is no hint for that, so be careful if you stuck in your progress. The walkthrough in the OP is very accurate, if you need it.

So I'm stuck on the quest "Jealous", feel like I've tried everything but nothing advances it. The hint just says "Amelia asked if we lock the cabin doors at night" but like going to sleep at night does nothing. Looked up the Walkthrough and feel as if I've done every step I could have already. I've completed the Hypocrite quest and done just bout every possible combo of everything during the days for a week plus in game like joining Rebecca + old Amelia for the threesome, not joining them and fucking young Amelia, not joining them and doing nothing, and just doing nothing at all and nothing has advanced it. Is there something obvious I'm missing?

Just finished this game and would like to give my 2 cents.
It starts very strong, the first half is brilliant, you are the sole man on a yacht full of women, and begin to manipulate them into unleashing their slutty inner self by subtly manipulating and pitting them against each other, letting their jealousy do the work for you.
I especially like the whole "female characters begin to waer less and less clothing" aspect of the game, where they start out prude but then get slowly convinced to wear ever more revealing outfits.
Unfortunatley, around the halfway mark, the whole premise gets completely dropped in favour of an increasingly ridiculous sci-fi story which ultimately takes you to fucking space (yeah I know this is part of the Spaced Out story, but only because your first game had a ridiculous story that doesn't mean your second game has to make the same mistakes).
No more slow manipulation, no more getting the girls to dress sluttier, 3/4 of the characters get dropped completely while the rest just fucks you randomly for different reasons basically unrelated to your own actions. At the end you are literally reduced to a subservient boytoy who gets used by the women at their leisure, unable to take any meaningful action of your own.
If the dev still reads this thread: the game has huge potential, you are obviously very talented when it comes to rendering and setting up sex scenes, and you have also shown that you do understand the appeal of subtly corrupting a female cast by a male MC. If you want to make your new games more successful, focus on the strengths you have shown within the first half of Water World, because that's where the good shit happens.
