It's a little weird here. Perhaps from the very beginning Quinn wanted Maya to join the restaurant and earn her free tuition, but over time she changed her mind and began to give specially the most difficult tasks so that Maya did not fulfill them and did not become sister of HOTs .
Quinn in the first episodes tries to raise her emancipation and apparently check how malleable and obedient she is (she kisses her in the pool, she wanted to force her to take part in the CUMpetition and make out with Dik, hinted to MC at the party in episode 4 that Maya is ready to do anything for free tution), but in the second season it seems that she is doing everything so that Maya does not join the HOTs.
Probably the incident with Mona convinced her that it is impossible to blindly and thoughtlessly offer free tution. Apparently, after that trick of Mona, Burke spoke rudely to Quinn, and therefore she decided to play it safe and prevent Maya from becoming a sister of HOTs.
Therefore, she wants to see proof of the task. Here I'm not sure why she needs this video. Or to make sure that Maya did not fulfilled sexy tasks and then to convince others sister to should not be accepted Maya into the HOTs. Or for blackmail. On the other hand, Quinn is clearly surprised that Maya has completed all the tasks from the list.
In fact, if you think about it, it leaves a good maneuver to create an arc of redemption for Quinn. She knew from the very beginning that Maya was not suitable and did everything so that she did not pass the tests and did not join the HOTs.

He never did actually. DPC has been very clear from the beginning of the new dev cycle on communicating that the Interlude is going to be a 'mini episode', 'mini' being the keyword here, he doesn't view it as a standard episode and never did. He said that Season 3 will include the Interlude, Ep. 9, 10, 11, & 12. That is true, but it's more of a '4 episodes + a DLC/bonus' kind of thing rather than 5 episodes, and it has been communicated as such too

Jill's face looks fine as is to me, sometimes her makeup and eyebrows are a little much

When I did a Jill route I couldn't help but have fun with Sage and when I got to episode 8 it was really a hammer blow. To make us choose a girl.

Well I finally forced myself to finish my Maya/Josy run (Maya centric) and I have to say ep. 7 & 8 were better than I expected with them as LIs. I never liked Maya's original look, but DPC really improved her. She looks so much better, especially in her solo lewd scene in 8. Her face didn't have that white powdered look, her minge looked satisfactory (particularly because DPC didn't include super close ups of her ingrown pubic hairs), and her orange outfit was a 10. Normally I don't like character models being altered mid game, but this one gets full approval. The pool scene was a tad juvenile, but overall the narrative was good. My Maya run is also where I can focus on annoying Becky wherever possible so that is fun too.

I didn't initially rate ep. 8 terribly high (mostly because of disappointment with my Sage route), but now that I have played many of the other LI routes, I think I should bump up the score a little more. Looking at multiple routes and the content as a whole, #8 is a solid episode.

This current debate about pregnancy and responsibility...

If a guy has unprotected sex with a girl and she falls pregnant, he has only himself to blame for his own life choices.

On the flipside, if a girl has unprotected sex with a guy and she falls pregnant, she has only herself to blame for her life choices.

Both are equally culpable in the act, but that is not to confuse responsibility with consequences.

Obviously the girl will face greater immediate consequences, she's the one who will fall pregnant. She'll also face the stigma of being a single mother etc. (depending on just how young she is).

Long term, it's typical that the girl will be shouldered with the raising of the child (if the dude doesn't get involved), but the dude will be hit for support/maintenance payments. So long term, both are significantly impacted.

I'd suggest the girl is probably facing greater consequences for her actions, but that doesn't mean she is therefore more responsible for making sure she is protected during sex.

A child born to two dumb shit parents who never wanted it in the first place can look at both as equally stupid.

All that said, the girl could just get an abortion and life goes on (excepted for the foetus, but we can't all win).

Bottom line, if you fuck a girl and she gets pregnant, don't blame her... :rolleyes:
