This current debate about pregnancy and responsibility...
If a guy has unprotected sex with a girl and she falls pregnant, he has only himself to blame for his own life choices.
On the flipside, if a girl has unprotected sex with a guy and she falls pregnant, she has only herself to blame for her life choices.
Both are equally culpable in the act, but that is not to confuse responsibility with consequences.
Obviously the girl will face greater immediate consequences, she's the one who will fall pregnant. She'll also face the stigma of being a single mother etc. (depending on just how young she is).
Long term, it's typical that the girl will be shouldered with the raising of the child (if the dude doesn't get involved), but the dude will be hit for support/maintenance payments. So long term, both are significantly impacted.
I'd suggest the girl is probably facing greater consequences for her actions, but that doesn't mean she is therefore more responsible for making sure she is protected during sex.
A child born to two dumb shit parents who never wanted it in the first place can look at both as equally stupid.
All that said, the girl could just get an abortion and life goes on (excepted for the foetus, but we can't all win).
Bottom line, if you fuck a girl and she gets pregnant, don't blame her...
