I recall playing this game a couple years ago, (yeah a walkthrough was very helpful, even if I just used it when stuck). I looked at the date of the first posting and found that is going on five years at the end of the month.
I have a hard time actually caring about a new update to this or other games with this kind of lengthy dev cycle. I certainly have some favorites that have been going for a few years, but the longer it takes and the greater the space between updates the more likely it is that I would need to start over, either due to tech difficulty or my memory of just what was going on in the game. I start to think, 'why bother', as I'm likely not going to see this completed any time soon. So, just check every now and then to see if it was completed by chance.
Yes, I know that making these games in not an easy task and can be very time consuming. Yes, I appreciate that I'm getting something for free. But the good games are ones that I start to get invested in and it just gets hard not having that payoff of a completed story.
