Maybe the dev is counting other income sources -- I see Fresh Women on Itch for example selling really well. I'm definitely smaller for sales but doing about 800-1k/month there myself, but this game is always very high on "best sellers" so it could be making quite a bit more on there. Not sure about 8k to make up the difference...but it's definitely much higher than 1k.

The only thing that bothers me about this game is how the MC gets caught by Lily with the USB. Why would the MC be that stupid to carry the USB on him knowing that he was going to confront her in the first place? I don't like it that if you handle it discreetly you get caught or full investigation same result. If anything Sam should've been the one to kick you out due to the history alone, and him thinking the MC is trying to make a move on his wife. The only time Lily kicks the MC out is if the MC bluntly brags about having sex with her to sam, just to cover her tracks.
