This Dev is consistently producing excellent lewd content, and is very engaging with his fans here in F95. But his Patreon subscription numbers are very poor. I think that this Dev should spend 50% less time at F95, search out other marketing avenues like Twitter and/or Pornhub, and spend a bit of time on his Discord to drum up support from his existing loyal fan base.

I haven't seen you on Discord PaleGrass , you should pop in and chat with your subscribers, get your Discord organised a bit. Time and effort spent on F95 does not seem to be very rewarding for you... so far.

I think F95 is an excellent platform to get more paying supporters. There is a steady rise in subscribers (and the usual monthly drop when it's payday). For me personally, the price structure is not the best. I was in the 18€ tier one month, but the rewards for this tier are too low to justify 18€ month. I got the alpha early okay (but, the meaning of Alpha is not (only) a bugfixing version, it's a version with not the full content of the final release. So maybe changing this to something like First look version, Preview One version would fit better) So no beta (with more content/full content), unless I would be subscribed this month too. If there was a constant monthly output, I could imagine subscribing to a maximum of a 15€ tier. But this means monthly new stuff, or more influence.

So this is in no way a judgement of working speed, number of output, quality! It's hell of work to do the posing, postwork, etc..

I, personally, would reduce the highest tier price to 15€ and stuff it with two, three or even four weeks earlier access to the final, and immediate access to alpha and beta. Also a toptier discord section for idea exchange and maybe a bit more weight on scenes (but still the dev is the dev and should realize his vision, patreons are to support, not to command in my opinion), another thing would be exclusive polls for this tier (so decisions in borders set by Palegrass can be made by the top supporters). And then maybe two or three lower tiers, 2.50€ for getting only the final four weeks after finishing and discord access, and a 7.50€ tier with two weeks earlier access to the final and immediate access to the beta and some not so impacting polls.

Again, this is just my opinion Nor do I say this would raise the patreon number to the moon, but the tiers would be more meaningful and more related to the amount of money someone pays.
Stil people telling others about a great game they discovered or writing an honest review (to show a 5 star rating on the latest updates page), putting a little image or something in their F95 siganture to do additional promotion are thing that would help additionaly!

However, first and all _more or less regular output_ with quality lewd content will attract the minions here! So keep up your fantastic work Palegrass and, hopefully, your patreon number will rise.

Bear in mind that the supporters for this game are split between Patreon and SubscribeStar, so the Patreon numbers do not represent all of the support for this game. Of course, the point still stands that this game, and the developer, deserve more support than they are currently receiving.

Hopefully, all of the Patreon supporters will eventually transfer their support over to SubscribeStar. The fewer adult game developers who are dependant upon Patreon, the better, and the more people who know and care about the differences between Patreon and SubscribeStar, the better.

I dunno about the tin can measurement of extremity but in my opinion the bar scene was pretty light in comparison to future content in Duncan's & Riggs' routes. With Lisa being inebriated & under the effects of GHB during that event I think it probably softened the blow of the whole thing a little. A fully conscious Lisa makes things an awful lot worse I think ^_^

It's hard to put a value on f95 because of how useful it is for me as a developer but I'd go ahead and estimate that it's been infinitely valuable to date ^_^

I just figured when I set them both up that the tier system on those platforms was mainly for early release stuff ^_^ I wouldn't wanna lock people out for weeks between tiers, that'd feel a bit cruel so a few days seemed right to me then the WP & voting rights on the tiers as little extras! (This has reminded me that I actually wanted to make a small poll so thank you xD)

This would be preferable definitely, I think Patreon is a better platform for ease of use but I am very concerned with future "more graphic" content being uploaded and my account being deleted in a heartbeat. I am seriously considering releasing "that" content separately and not including it in the patreon uploads just to avoid any headache down the line. I've read a few instances of developers literally losing their account with no warning and no chance of redemption.

Right I'm back to finishing this off, it's now 6am. I was awake until nearly 10am yesterday morning, it's safe to say my sleep schedule is a little backward but I'm nearly done thankfully.

I haven't written the bathhouse scene yet but I'm just gonna post that as a patch in a day or two. (It's not a sex scene)

You are right to be concerned about Patreon borking your content. It happened to the developer of "Life in Middle East" (great game by the way) so he took all of the non-consent and forced/violent content and made it a patch that he released here instead of on Patreon. Now that is a lot easier to do on Renpy but you may be able to do something similar on this engine.

It happened to the developer of "Life in Middle East" (great game by the way) so he took all of the non-consent and forced/violent content and made it a patch that he released here instead of on Patreon. Now that is a lot easier to do on Renpy but you may be able to do something similar on this engine.

Did he manage to recover his account or did he just setup a new one entirely?

I have thought about it quite a bit and I think the easiest way to do it is to setup entirely new maps with the sole purpose of housing these events in particular. That way the patch is simply CG + Map file which is super easy to organize and install

If I remember correctly they needed a new account, so it isn't worth it to play chicken with Patreon's ever-shifting guideline priorities. The duplicate map method does sound like it would work. That way you could just have an alternate data folder that would serve as the patch. In windows, if you put the data folder in the same directory as another folder named data it automatically merges them. It might be more involved in Mac but I think similar for Android.
