Might have been said already but it desperatly needs music.. its good so far but the lack of music kinda makes the reading a little empty as music can add to a scenes emotional draw.. Also you might wanna add the banner pic as your title screen given tht the pic looks like an excellent movie poster and FAR better than the current game one

Superwriter once explained it long and detailed somewhere, summarized: He has too many ideas and too much drive to spend too much time choosing the right music or spending weeks rendering animations.
Therefore, neither music nor animations will come in any of his games.
Unless he completely changes his mind.

He asked his player base once and hardly anyone gave a shit about music. That on top of everything he has going on he's never bothered with it and has no interest in adding any.
I don't think there is much chance of him adding any music. Can't even say I blame him considering how many of us said we mute it anyway.

Technically, there's not much to adding music. I just feel that doing it right seems beyond my current skill level.

to be fair.. most player bases will tell the creator what he wants to hear in hope of seeming special in their eyes but i agree its not always needed.. However consider it in a cinematic approach and aside from the days of silent movies.. which to be fair isnt that far removed from VNs minus the control of story forwarding being in the hands of the player.. Music when used correctly can give significance and powerful meaning to a moment, a scene or an event that the creator, director etc wants to place an emotional feeling behind.. Whether that emotion is one of fear of the environment or situation they are in, a whimsical upbeat tune to express the light nature or comedic sense of the moment, or in the case of a scene where you wish to convey the romantic tension or the building lust between character it can be Vital to help capture the deep emotional feelings of the viewer and thus allow them to feel more connected and invested in the story.. AVNs aren't Movies.. But any creator who wishes to invoke that kind of reaction in its audience would need the added assistance of music to make his work FEEL.. not just be read..

in shorter terms... Look at the most successful creators out there now and tell me if they have used music in the way i described or not... Ocean(summer gone/wiab) Pinkcake(BaDik), Redfox Studios(chasing Sunsets), Drifty(LoF), Digi B (artemus), Undergrad Steve (college Kings) TLG (aoa).. They put the effort in and it shows with each and every update, they have earned that praise by delivering high quality and music filled pieces of work with soundtracks that help to capture the reading enjoyment of the story you are invested in.

I forgot to mention in the main review but i REALLY like the characters eyes.. whicever assets your using keep with it.. more often than not they seem dead and plastic but the assets being used here allow for a much better 'human' emotion style

Don't forget Philly with Depraved Awakening and CoBD, or NLT with top tier animations. Those devs put in the extra effort for good audio and animations and their games get the next level support for it.
In general, I won't support a Dev who can't be bothered with audio in their games, but I'm super auditory and rate sound over animations.
The writing and renders here make the game worth a play, but it's not as great as it could be.

Hey there, brothers. I've had a bit of a rollercoaster ride after finishing the 0.13 version, before Norah's ending starts, but nevertheless the feeling will surely persist until the game is finished, unless something huge happens, which I don't think it will. Let me share my insight with y'all...
It's been quite some time since I've been thrilled with a VN like it happened with this one. Although not animated (which could have brought even more points to it), I did play with the thought "Wow, this guy earned his nickname, alright..." but then, when finished at the time, something ocurred to me.
The severe lack of depth in its story: it felt at first that the dev made everything alright, made me enjoy it, like the girls a lot, and then, around the time when I read that the MC had sex with Leanne multiple times after taking her V-card (very nice scene, by the way) it all started to fall apart.
I grew attached to her, and all the others, of course. But the feeling started to sink in: I did start to love it, but wasn't having any more depth with anybody, which is a terrible feeling, even worse than hating a character, IMHO.
I can only summarize it in this way:
"So close, but at the same time so far away..."
I just hope that the endings will help at least to mitigate this feeling. And, as a bush diver, I can't finish this without commenting on Norah's: that's just heavenly! All men of fine tastes should appreciate a good, big, thick bush! (It would be just lovely to see more of it, especially on my favorite redhead )
No matter what, Leanne will always be in my heart, and all the others too. The aftertaste could have been so much better, but let's wait and see what the complete endings will bring to us...

AB-SO-Lutely YES! Philly was and still is one of the top tiered in my own choice reads Broken Dreamers not only has the story but that raw music builds the tension better than 1000 words of dialogue and exposition ever couldDon't forget Philly with Depraved Awakening and CoBD, or NLT with top tier animations. Just reached aprox Update 8 area.. Wow.. This is a REALLY really good story.. with so much more going for it than the 1st glance seems to show.. I'm getting hooked on these characters and as is always the case when you find a story you want to get engrossed in, i just dont want to see a summer end lol.. tbh time seems to work differently in this VN with days passing by between each girls story events but even still i'd love to see a way to extend the story longer that the proposed (2months?)

SuperWriter lol gonna be hated for spamming posts here lol.. Any chance we can see a new family business arise to give mc a way out at some point.. with the mothers baking skills, one daughters lawyer skills, ones dance skills and future and the others pro gaming opportunitys there should be a perfect team in place to start a family business that allows them to cut away from the fathers financial hold.. mc would make a great financial manager, mother the baker creative visionary, if you felt like having a season 2 for this story then it could begin with the setting up of the business and them dealing with the day to day running and life challenges they face.. the antagonist could still be the father as he tried everything he can to ruin them after they cast him aside.. the family could do quite well especially with step mothers assistance
