and then nothing was the same anymore.

by that point, the closest thing to vanilla i could find was under the incest-tag.
99% of the time it's some dude having a kinda taboo but sweet relationship with a relative.
it's usually either some guy falling in love with his mom who's also a widow,
some guy having a relationship with his sister, and fucking everytime they get the chance,
or some guy having a relationship with a cousin he rarely get to see.


99% of the time,
incest content feature a relationship between two consensual-characters with somes feelings involved,
of course it's not ALWAYS the case, you also get somes grey-areas, but most of the time it's pretty vanilla stuff.

anyway, i'm happy we're getting actual incest-eroges getting translated,
western porn dosn't come CLOSE to this stuff.

Well - I would like to add Yuri to that vanilla list. Most Yuri VN's are without all that fucked-up stuff (yes - there are, of course, exceptions, like for instance Yukkuri Panic: Escalation and SaDistic BlooD that are brutal titles). It is, I guess, one of the reasons I really like that Yuri stuff. There are more reasons of course (for instance - there are lot less mind blowing stupid MC's), but it's a not insignificant part.

But I agree. If you look at the titles that have been released lately, there is a disturbing amount of titles that do rape, mindbreak, cuckholding, humiliation, hypnosis, gore, confinement, blackmail, violence and more of that "funny" stuff. Mind you - It's not that I think this stuff should not exist or something crazy like that. There are lots of people that like it, and who am I to judge that?
And, by the way - I don't mind Netorase (as long it dont ends in Netorare) or Netori. That last one as long as it's not done by some "funny" stuff. For instance: If the FMC is treated very bad by the husband/lover/whatever, I don't mind if the MC is "stealing" her away from that jerk. But "funny" stuff as mentioned above is a big red flag for me.

If you like the more vanilla stuff then I have to say there is a lot less to find like that...

i wasn't talking specifically about eroges, i was also talking about doujins and hentai in general.

whenever i go on sad-panda,
everytime i check the releases or translations, half of it are NTR, and then it's split between lolicon and hardcore stuff.
i can't remember the last time i've seen something vanilla that WASN'T an incest story,
something hilarious tho', i see scat porn getting uploaded more often than vanilla stories.

i absolutely judge the shit out of thoses fetishes tho', especially anything related to NTR and guro.
