Watermelon and ham??? I love watermelon, but a combo of "normal" melon and parma ham [or anything similar, thin cut] is LUSH.

But what really isn't lush is the judgemental and vindictive nature of the MC. I mean really, to infect your own mother because you don't agree with her life choices? Wow!? Looking at you, BaasB.
Eh she caused his parents to divorce, fucked the MCs (probably) underage friends throughout high school (I'm assuming since the MC said she liked having his friends over on weekends or some such), and then whored out at the MC which completely destroyed his perception of her since no one had the heart to tell him how she really was. Dude comes home after years of doing spec ops shit probably up to his eyeballs in ptsd and walks into that? It's a wonder the MC just infected her and kicked her out of the house lol

What happened with the renders? They started off great, but now they're... well... not good.

SPOILER ALERT!

We are always going to disagree on this, I feel; MC's biologicaly mother portrayed as a despicable character in the Novel through her self-absorbed and selfish nature, and by her toxic behaviour, and I have no empathy towards her. That the MC feels no love or respect towards her, and feels ashamed of his mother and feelings of total resentment, is completely understandable and credible. The MC attempted to reconnect in some level with his mother and her display of her real nature was a shocking experience and repulsive in his eyes, I get it, but let's remember the rest of the context... she didn't recognise him to begin with and he played along even encouraging her behaviour, which I find strange and in some ways manipulative. In parallel, he has just discovered that his father has developped a biological weapon [hugely manipulative] which has the potential to wipe out human beings and at best change the very nature of people; his father that has always seemingly hidden key things from him and others, including the true nature of his biological mother. A father who, in my eyes, suffered from delusions of greatness but who was also incredibly manipulative. Yet the MC seems to accept his father's flaws fairly readily, in the same PTSD state he finds himself in when he acts as both judge and jury by infecting his mother with his father's virus, removes her financial support and, again in my eyes, shockingly wrecks the life of an eighteen year old and his family, through some notion of justifiable retribution?! With these actions, the MC is as vile and selfish as his mother, and as manipulative and narcissistic as his father. Yet at the same time, we have been encouraged to show empathy towards our talented hero; it is a huge flaw in the story. Let's remember, the author portrays the MC as a just and good person, who waves the banner [along with many of his friends] of some sort of moral high ground, one which I find far too black and white in it's portrayal and highly polarized in a perverse way in an erotic novel, but at the same time I can accept it as a vision by somebody who has lived a life very different to my own. What I cannot readily accept, no matter how we perceive the MC's nature and his hurts, is how coldy he can willingly judge and destroy the lives of others.

100% agree :) MC's mental health is certainly on the fritz imo. And is borderline psychopathic and are definatly narsassistic.
A virus making all men impotent, women who have narrow-minded moral views (All power to you, nothing wrong with it, but abit weaponized and cult-like views). It all lines up to something with severe trust and self-consciousness. Emotions like pride, jealousy, and embarrassment are textbook in this VN.

I really did like the VN though. Except the part how these "morals" where layed out and portraied. I mean, who wouldnt want a woman who have waited for only you?! Don't feel the need to take it so much further than that though :p
And the punishment his bio-mother got was just insane :O I was seriously shocked xD I mean id definatly dont think he over did it with cutting ties and all that, but infecting her and an innocent teenager with a full life ahead of him is psychotic! Because the teenager WAS infact innocent. Unless HE was the one manipulating his mother.

It's just very wierd imo. But that aside its actually not that bad. And i will continue to "watch" this and just doing some jedi mindtricks to ignore all the religous mumbo jumbo :D

At this point I am waiting for the MC to go all "FFF-Class Trashero" on everybody's ass. It would be fucking epic but this thread would turn into a war zone.

I whole heartedly agree with you too; I really like many aspects of this VN/KN and am impressed by the author's skill at story-telling and their attention to detail. I guess I must also brush up on my Jedi mind tricks ;)

Who hurt Nikki? Who hurt the incel author is my question. I don't have a problem with characters expressing viewpoints, but it's gone well into the creator moralizing.
Hehe, it went really overboard, right! :p At one point it felt like propagation, hehe. atleast with how it returned over and over again. like its a point to mention it a few times each update :p

Have to say only downloaded to waste some time , but was really suprised how much I enjoyed it. A plus point was a little sexy ginger time. But all in all a great distraction will be following this one closely story good, slow burn, good models plus many more good points keep up the good work dev.

propaganda? probably not, but too simplistic, too repetitive and too polarized for my tastes... but aside from that minor point :) I have really enjoyed the Novel as a whole... with my newly-found mind tricks!

It's weird that I started routing for the bad guys because at least they are honest in their scumbaggery.

The, er... "good" guys?

Term "good" used very loosely here.

Well, they are all, how can I put this politely ....... mental as fuck. That's as polite as I can get.

I wanted to like it but the MC switches between likeable and fucking douchebag on a regular basis and I don't think i've ever been preached at as hard as this game does.

Even worse when you consider the fact the dev expects women to only ever have sex with 1 person while men can bang woever they want ..... please, by all means, ooze your insecuities all over the game, please.

Not going to lie, I like this VN a lot. But as you have already said in your review (see the review tab) there is a big discrepancy between the character that has been built and some of the dialogues that come out of his mouth. Now I am going to emphasize that this is only what I think is happening and the dev should take a moment to think about this: It appears to me that there is a conflict between what some of us think and what some of us would say (because I think in a similar way as the dev thinks about morals). There is a disconnect that stems from what we would say openly and what we think. While most of us would shut up about what would we say pertaining to some "free spirited women" (and men) in real life against what we would say anonymously.

This kind of media allows some degree of anonymity so the dev has overstepped social constraints to say what most of us would not say in public. There is a miss conception that most men think that the more sexual partners a man has the better and the more sexual partners a woman has, it is worst. In my experience it applies to both that the more sexual partners the worst it gets (I would gander that most "civilized" men think this way).

Anyway I think that it is a point that has to be addressed as it is pretty apparent, even though it made me laugh because if I am being honest that's how I talk when I am alone with my brother. There is a big difference between what we think and the type of person we desire to be. Having said that it appears to me that a lot of what the MC says would be ok to be put as internal monologue. If I remember it right I have said in some previous posts that the way the MC is portrayed is incongruous at times. So yeah you are on to something.

But dang it, I rally like the action sequences and masculinity of the MC compered to the usual whipped pussies of other VN's. Let us have this small victory. :KEK:

Sadly that's the only victory it has.

If it stopped preching all that relationship morality bullshit it would be a a great VN.

As it stands it's half a great VN and half utter nonsense.

I don't care what the devs beliefs are about relationships, I don't play adult VN's about violence and hot women to have them prattle on about morals and shit eventhe most conservative of 50's housewives would think is too over the top.

If all that was cut out it would be an instant win. The problem is it isn't just mentioned once or twice, it's constant. Every . single . conversation with Nicole is the same damn thing. It got the point where I hated her character because I got sick of the preachy bullshit.

What could have been a pretty popular VN is ruined by the devs own incistance of adding this relationship morality crap every 5 minutes.

That's with me majorly overlooking the sheer hypocrisy of the MC telling women if they had so much as dated another man he wouldn't be interested but it's fine for him to have a harem.

I enjoy half of it but he really needs to stop with that shit.

I thought we were supposed to let these devs do what the want with their vn/games.

Since a lot of people dislike the Nicole's segments (personally I do kinda like them), maybe the best thing Corforce could do is give the player the option to skip the portions where she talks about it (some other games that "preach" a lot also do this). It would not remove any content and skip some of the content people do not enjoy, so it should not have any downsides as far as I can tell.
