Thanks, that should be an easy fix to simply edit the file extension in the screens.rpy file. Of course that's after I unren 10GB worth of files to get to it.

Apparently yes. I have not had time to replay the whole game yet but so far there is not enough reason to restart it if you can get your old saves working. Although using old saves wont trigger the replay gallery scenes to unlock (or whatever the new collectibles are).

Panties. They are like the doughnuts in Sunshine Love. Randomly placed in the scene and need to be clicked on to collect. If you toggle the "hide the UI" button on/off a few times the panties go with the UI making it easier to spot them.
and that is why devs like ICSTOR (for example) don't finish their games. They are just doing it for Money instead of the love of creating the game. Then they get bored and never finish. Probably what will happen with this game as well.
Has the developer said anything about what's going to happen with future Steam releases of Red Falls/Helping the Hotties?

Exactly. That's the difference between those devs that have multiple successful games, and those that just keep working eternally on the same single title that never goes anywhere and start leaking subscribers sooner after than later: they are doing the game THEY wanted and planned for, instead of focusing on milking subscribers for money. Ironically, these guys also usually make more money, because finishing focused games, even if they fail to please every wish that comes their way, builds more trust than just trying to please everyone.

Probably because of the choice, for whatever reason to make it 4k even though the overwhelming majority of people are still using 1080p monitors.

No, looks like they entirely cut out the "father" believe his name was Paul? as a character. Now it's Eve that calls you to the camp.
Where you used to go downstairs for a glass of water the first night there, and could see her having sex outside with someone ( probably Paul ) is also cut out. ( I haven't played beyond this point.. ) But I assume he got entirely removed from the story..
Also there seems to be a Voice over ( reading, at least for the girlfriend in the beginning ) sounds very monotonous, so I muted that asap. The 4k is nice though.. But didn't feel like replaying yet ( was just curious about the difference ) Also I have no idea if there is new content compared to the old 6.0, I haven't played further yet.
It's kind of hard to get back into this for me and didn't feel like replaying yet.. I really wonder if this remake was the right choice.. Story seemed fine as it was...
I had tried the game a while back and stopped playing as i am not a fan of sandbox games. So when i read that in the udpate there was a way to turn it off i decided i would give it another go. I then ran into the issue fo the font size. I am legally blind and in order to read the dialog for the game i would end up with a sore neck as i need to lean way forwards in order to read the dialog. Which sadly is not something i can deal with. While the features in teh update gave me some hope i could paly the game now i will ahve to pass on the game as no game is work neck pain. I wish the dev much luck with the game tho regardless of if i can easily play it or not.

Isn't self-voicing an option for you? Pressing V enables it in renpy. Also it seemed that at least for the girlfriend, there is a voice over. ( Also pretty sure there is a way for you to increase font size or even change fonts ) could look into it for you..
