I've been thinking back on the update. Did they announce the winners and losers? I'm pretty sure they were lined up after the 3 girls had their turns and maybe they announced the winner, but I can't really remember them announcing the loser. Nor do I remember a penalty game like we had in the first week.

The loser is announced at the end of the exhibition, right after the winner (unless Rosalind won unanimously). Penalties are scheduled for Monday, so not in the game yet.

Since Rosalind always get Hana's vote, if either Veronica or Felicia win with two votes (photo shoot + exhibition), the other loses and get the penalty. If Rosalind wins by Hana's vote and the photo shoot and either Veronica or Felicia won the exhibition, the other one gets the penalty. If all three tie, all three get the penalty.

I don't think the script currently accounts for Rosalind winning all three votes (Hana + photo shoot + exhibition), but would expect that both Veronica and Felicia got the penalty in that case; the devs may want to have a look at that possibility (TD1900).

Ok, I think Rose won all 3 for me. Maybe that's why it got bugged out or something.

Already deleted the game, but I'll play around with it to view all the possibilities when the next update drops.

I'll admit, I'm positively surprised by this update.

Expected the game to take a turn for the worst with Hanna enjoying what she sees and embracing the work culture. Perhaps my dream of ending a game on her route by leaving this place of debauchery is still possible. One can dream.

Ironic that in a game filled with H content my favorite bits are with Mina and Hanna, two "pure" girls. At least compared to the rest of the cast.

Was planning to wait for a working android port but I couldn't wait any longer.

Thoughts on the update:
The games are a lot more on the psychological side for this exhibition. Interesting but not necessarily my cup of tea to get me going. Either Felicia has a crotch of steel or that wooden leather horse is extra comfy for her to stay on it that long lol.

As a Rosalind fan, I'm satisfied with all the scenes she got :giggle: Do her scenes in the parking lot and the exhibition change depending on what you choose to be your fetish during Never Have I Ever? In my run I chose choking and we got some of that. Was wondering if the scene will be different if the player chose edging or objectifying.

Realized in the end that my MC is going on a date with Hana while also being lovers with Mina. Feels conflicting, like he's two-timing them, aside from the fact that he's literally fucking with so many others in the club. Getting a poly relationship with Hana and Mina sounds nice but it sorta doesn't feel right unless some developments happen down the line which would make it more plausible. Mina bi-curious points coming into play?

I think you raise an interesting point. Troubled romances can come from circumstances that are outside of the characters' control, or from their own human faults, and often is a combination of the two. From that end, having a "normal" person develop feelings for someone working outside of the "norm", ie. a prostitute, can raise some interesting questions and challenge our feelings and expectations towards a "normal" romance just as well as say, a classic Shakespearean tragedy.

The societal norm for a long time has been to disregard and actively look down on people in the skin trade. Whether that's right or wrong is a matter of personal value, but the current iteration of progressive societal values say that we at least can't deny that sex workers are human beings who deserve the same rights as anyone and shouldn't be stigmatized just for how they earn a living.

I don't believe that this is a notion that is accepted by most, to be honest. I have no qualms with dating someone who's done sex work, but I would draw the line at dating an active practitioner of the trade. Many others may not feel the same, they wouldn't want to date someone who's engaged in the business in any way, and that's totally cool as well. People are naturally going to differ in how they react to controversial subject matters.

But, this game challenges you to consider the people in these circumstances and engage with them, and see for yourself how you respond when you do get to intimately know and understand women who are put into these positions, even if you're someone who frowns upon the trade (which again, is a totally legitimate belief).

I've easily developed feelings and genuinely care for the well-being of the main characters who have been part of the debauchery, despite the fact that they are essentially whores. One of them even goes into it willingly for nebulous reasons, and doesn't have the excuse of desperation like the other two. And yet, I still feel deeply empathetic all the same.

There's power in how the game was able to make me think and feel like this, and though this is obviously erotica and not a social documentary of how sex work functions in real life, it still provides a perspective to look at and engage with our own preconceptions of what sex workers are like. The game even offers a choice: you can always choose to treat these women who have picked their poison with contempt and "give them what they deserve", if that's what you really believe. But you can also push past that and see that there's more to these characters than their sexual worth.

Sorry, that was a lot of rambling not necessarily directed at your question per se, just thoughts that have come up as I've played. My point is, the game challenges you in a provocative but effective manner, and I think it's awesome.
I enjoyed reading so no need to apologize haha

I think me personally, I would never date someone who was in the skin trade as you said it whether it's in the porn industry or as a prostitute but there is still a chance but(a veery small chance) but as I said "WAS" so if their active then it's a no go at all.

Also outside a few people most choose to do it knowing the stigma that comes of being a part of such trade so they have to deal with the consequences of doing so.

That was a fear of yours I never had before the update. While there will be paths where Hana will be partly (still good endings possible) or fully corrupted, she has shown she has her convictions and does not bow easily. She had already worked at PC for over a year and is still outspoken about some parts which disgust her. It is not by chance that when Kath and Warren talk about Hana´s future possible corruption, a pic of Edwin is shown and Kath explains that they will get Hana only by having support from others.
We as the players will be a big part if or how much Hana will be corrupted during the game. And when playing the Hana route

I do not have this problem, because "my canon" Edwin is on the Hana path, but tries to help Ian and Mina stay a couple.:)
While some "fun times" with Mina and Hana might be possible later in the game, esp. if Mina´s bi-curiosity is high, that is all that happens if Hana is not fully corrupted. While Hana is definitely not a prude, far from it, when it comes to love and relationships, she is not one for "strange experiments". A fun threesome with Mina or a bit swapping with Ian and Mina (if we help saving their relationship) is possible, in special with a partly corrupted Hana, but a real poly relationship never.
It is very clear whenever Hana talks about relationships, she is a one couple love adherent. Some fun experiments or fuckbuddies is in the cards, but any type of full polyamoury is not something Hana will be part of.

See, that's fair. But most VN developers choose to only have 1 route, so there wouldn't be "Is she going to succumb or not", it would be "and then she turns into same thing as everyone else".

Just look at all mafia games we have. There are basically 0 games where the MC gets out, or hell, even THINKS of getting out. 99,9% of the games are "You got into something that's by nature bad, and you slowly got to enjoy it, along with everyone else you met during the game".

Again, my biggest hope is Edwin gets to leave this place forever at the end of a game. Plenty of options to go against the flow given so far, so dream lives on.

Yes, it is unfortunately a fact of life that many erotic games are woefully short on alternate paths to take. But that makes the other just stand out even more. "Pale Carnations" deserves all the praise it gets for writing , art and so on. But one of the most important thing is that choices do count in the long run.
TD1900 for instance already said that there will be very different paths we players can take. Be it with the girls or what to do in relation to the Club. Staying or leaving.
So your dream of taking your sweetheart and leaving PC behind forever, is one possibiliy. As is staying with your sweetheart or staying with your sweetheart and making reforms. Or going full debauchery or doing your job and then leaving when your study time is over.
And what we will also see are dark or partly dark endings, that has also been confirmed.

This probably isn't a super common sentiment, but I have to say it. In addition to the many reasons this game is awesome, I really love how the skin is designed. It's not that leathery, plastic skin that most 3D games have. I really love the visible veins. Even the big games like Being a DIK don't have great character models like this. This dev just keeps slam dunking it.

And my lord, there's boob veins. I never thought I'd see the day. These are noticed, and extremely appreciated. This is one of my favorite things and is super rare.
