I haven't played the last 3 updates and instead I chose to read the comment section. Even if this game was finished, it would take too! long to reach Rosey. The game structure is to rigid. You do this at this time and this place or a round and a round and a round we go, you get the picture. The only way to save this this game is completion with intergrated walk through. Until that time you'll be holding uncooked sausage.

You can choose not to have to do everything (Free mode). If that's not enough, you can use the mod from yoyomistro.

why will this game not load for me ?

Which system do you have? For Mac there are more people who have problems with startup, don't have a Mac myself so can't test.

For PC I have the following tips.
Hold down Shift while starting Ren'Py, or press Shift+G once Ren'Py has started. From the "Graphics Acceleration" menu that appears, choose the FORCE ANGLE2 Renderer or find the right renderer until it run like normal

Or try deleting the persistent file from both game folder and C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\HS-1539366243 (not saves)

Rather than what some here are saying, the game is definitely worth a try.

Only issue I have with this game is the obsessively long time it's taken to get to the equivalent of of maybe 20% of a full game. But at least there is 1 to 2 events every update, suffice to say this dev is only a fraction better then the other devs who go months with only bugfixes before releasing minor amounts of content.
