I've been following this game since 0.5, I think, and it's been one of my favorite games on this site since. It's nice to see it finished, and in a satisfying, proper way at that. The visual style is unique and I like it quite a lot, and I've always found the atmosphere to be excellent. This is perhaps the one game here I've played where I've found the gameplay to actually add something meaningful, really adding to the immersion. The characters were all well-designed and enjoyable to interact with; I usually don't like games with forced love interests, but in this case all four were great so it never bothered me even a little. And the story did its job and made me want to see it through to the end, without ever feeling like it got in the way of anything else. As an aside, and this might seem silly, I really loved the little rotating 3D models when you got new items, they remind me of some positive memories. Also, bonus points for never breaking old saves despite the revisions to the earlier content.
Fetish talk: On a personal note, I really appreciated the female characters being barefoot throughout the game (except Mia wearing socks, obviously). I'm not saying I wouldn't have loved the game if they weren't, but to be honest, it was a contributing factor in me choosing to play it in the first place (I'd like to think I'd have played it anyway, though). I don't know why that was the way it was, but if it was some purely technical choice and not an intentional one, I appreciate it regardless. I can only hope that whatever follows keeps that trait, but I won't be too mad if it doesn't.
All in all, it's a little bittersweet to see it done, but that's far from a bad thing. Looking forward to the future.
