If you're taking ideas, then how about 2 side paths. One for the training that you described, another for keeping the way she is, but still raising her self esteem. Kind of like how the very first version of the game went, with them going back and forth. Perhaps this time Max can take a more active role and show some physical affection to show that she is sexy as fuck while she is going around doing her daily chores? Gives the MC a way to get the same kind of affection points as he would if he were to train her. I found the very first back and forth in the beginning of the game sexy as fuck and would not mind seeing more of the same vein. Well written stuff and does not require a ton of new renders, but is still good content.

You definitely can still build her confidence.
Basically, the main difference on these paths is her looks. The way you treat her is independent of this.

What I meant is that if you do things the way you have done thus far, and assign variables like Paula Attracted to Max +1 as a reward for choices that Max picks, if a player is NOT on the training path, then it results in less content and thus less chances to pick those points up, mechanically speaking.

That is a chance to get points. 2) on the no training path Max instead asks her to stand in front of a full body mirror, gets behind her and has choices on what to compliment and what to do to make her feel sexy. That is another chance for points. And so on, just different things the player can do in lieu of the training events.

So you have two paths on what to do with her physique, but both end up with the same amount of chances for points with Paula. You probably have an idea how you want to handle it already and this is not new, but I just want to make sure the "leave her alone, she is perfect as is" crowd are less salty about their picked path and missing out on pole dancing lessons, lol.

There is no real easy and "natural" solution to this - different actions lead to different reactions.

It's a solution, but it also leads to two other problems: one is that it requires much more work, since it can add up to almost two separate games in terms of renders and story lines, depending on the complexity of the game.
This can delay the game updates very much, although make the story even more interesting.
The other is that it can sometimes require forcing the game to have scenes that are not integral to story, just to keep it parallel to the adjacent story.
A possible solution for this second problem, though, is to have an un-even credit system, in which you get the unproportionate credit points for some actions, so a single "You look nice in that thong" gets you the same "Paula Loves MC" points as a whole post-workout massage session.
It will work credits-wise, but I'm afraid you'll still miss that specific massage session.
What I like doing in these games, by the way, is to play both paths, so I don't miss things.

The first version, although short, picked my interest, so I was waiting for this new one to see if it was going where it hinted initially. It did! Very nice interactions and witty dialogue, consequent with the choices players make; beautiful and sexy models; and interesting and original setting. I also enjoyed the posing style and narrative rhythm
At some point (even before the Putanina plot reveal) it made me remember the good old Tinto Brass movies. That level of eroticism was and still is a rare thing.
It left me wanting more, so I have great expectations from this and I am considering support. Just wanted to see a little more...
Regarding the previous pages of back and forth and getting nowhere, and after playing now a few hundreds of AVNs, I would say to the dev to stay true to his vision and narrative style. That's another way of Saving Paula and building a solid presence and work. If it's going to "pay", I believe it'll be that way.

NTR will not be the focus in any situation. I hate "true" NTR, where you're basically forced to watch your loved ones get fucked by others - that, by the way, isn't even an option.
I don't want to get into definitions, because there were some here that even called girl-on-girl action NTR...
Anyway, the so-called NTR in this game is here, as an option, for situations where you want it to happen - by losing on purpose, basically.
So NTR in no way is the focus.

Femdom with MC (meaning MC dominated by a female) - probably not.
The other way round, perhaps (depends on future polls).

32 bit - I will check.
