Captain, your love has been received, and while I will not question the weird flex of using multiphasic torpedoes against an opponent with decidedly monochrome shields, I'm afraid that I must ask that you retrieve your first officer. Our sensors show he's in Clownbay 5. Presumably, fucking monochrome clowns.

And that's where you are wrong. There are plenty of top-shelf AVN that has all 3 of those pillars PLUS animations.

Now, is animation necessary? I agree with you that it's not. But the rest of your statement that "animations typically prop up an AVN which only focuses on render quality without really caring about the story or believable sex scenes" is quite laughably wrong.

Anyone know if chapter 1 is almost actually Final :D ?

Ie I am just waiting until least chapter 1 or w/e is complete so I don't have to wait a year or whatever If I end up enjoying it.

Yes, Chapter 1 as it is linked in OP is "Final".

However, there is a "directors cut" version coming out RealSoonNow(tm)*, together with the first section of chapter 2.

It says "finale" which is a strong indication it is finished. I've played the current release. It felt like a full chapter and I did enjoy it. Adventure ever on friend, Phat(y)

ya exactly says finale not final :D and changelog says V8 was also called finale (does not even have something for V9 in it so idk expect maybe just minor bugs fixed or just not updated changelog).
Good to know Ch1 is complete though, since other guy just before you said there be a directors cut soon guess will wait for it.

We just got the last update in mid October. IDK when to expect chapter 2. It could appear before end of year or not until February or March. I really don't know. Should be well worth the wait. Chapter one was rather impressive. :)

There is another content update coming to Chapter 1. The Finale update that is available now already concludes the chapter, but I've gone back to rework one of the beginning scenes to help exposit the story better.
