does the key of destiny have a bug? I am unable to get Loki and Lucina even though I am able to get Fana, Ullr, and Nanna after clearing Aloith's scene on Thanatos.

I even try clearing Dues hard and very hard and it doesn't show up.

PS: I also check each of my class slots have less than 42 unit

There was definitely a bug with the keys under certain conditions. I can't remember exactly, but I think it had something to do with the number of units you hired (probably for farming mats).

Anyways, getting the newest patch fixed the issue for me. 1.03 in the OP is very outdated. Some people posted the newer patches somewhere in the thread.

I think what units you could get also changed based on whether you used the key during night or day. Though, don't quote me on that since it's been forever by now. XD

That said, there was a link around here in the thread that led you to the patches. Going to at least 1.07, which was the latest when I played, fixes a lot of stuff, even if on 1.03 the game was fully playable and didn't have any major bugs related to the story itself.

Hey guys, maybe I am shit at searching but I already went through 20+ pages and couldn't find info on how do you upgrade your commanders. I am at the end of chapter 4 and not being able to apply titles or re-recruit for 100 triumph means that even my main commanders like Anora drop off hard and are mostly there for their op force spells.

I keep reading about commander titles but I have no idea how can I give those to for example Lynette, can anyone help? I feel stupid having all my commanders at 100 triumph/25 loyalty, not knowing how to upgrade them

It unlocks from endings and you can use it in the next run.

Do a bunch of trial and error to edit the stats of unit...

Try updating the game to the latest version and it might fix whatever issues your having.

Have you tried changing the compatibility OS in the config? That might help?
What Version of Windows are you using? Windows 7/10/11?

So, I am massively confused. I downloaded the parts, since it was safer cause my internet is kinda wonky, but how do I install the game now? The file types are nothing what my pc recognizes

(My Explaination will use WinRAR, no idea how to do it exactly with other archiving tools)
After you have downloaded all 4 files. Place them into the same directory.
Afterwards you can right-click on Part1 and click "Extract here". WinRAR will then unpack the four archives (even tho it looks like its only unpacking the first part).
You will get a new file, which itself is a Archive-File again (even tho it does not look like one), which you can open with WinRAR again to unpack the final installation files.

For those who mastered speed mechanics:

I heard speed helped in vbfi with critical chance and critical defense, but I've been searching, and cant find how much does it work. Only found that speed's crit boost is capped at 50%, and that lethal critical reduces 25% of the enemy's defence stat

So, how does it work?

If I have 200 speed and the enemy has 100, do i get 50% crit chance extra?

EDIT: found it. 3 * sqrt(attacker's speed) - sqrt(deffender's speed)

This game has more layers to it in terms of gameplay although they are very similar. Both games are among the top gameplay eroges available in english. I'd say play both, starting with the first. Personally, I liked the story in the first game slightly more.

Law or chaos will have different sex scenes on chapter 7,8. You will choose your law/chaos route based on law/chaos points at chapter 6
