Your game is saying you have double set of definition files. You chose option to keep both kind of files. Best solution is redownload crunched game, and delete current.

The error in your screenshot is not the image error; It looks like you have two copies of the game in the same folder because all the files are doubled.
Delete your whole "TheSecret-0.1.2.2-pc-crunched" folder and re-extract. If you have the file "TheSecret-0.1.2.2-pc-crunched" then you need to do the image fix, and if you have "TheSecret-0.1.2.2-pc-crunched-fixed" you don't.

I re-downloaded and chose workupload instead....it worked---I downloaded the MEGA version first and dat one was the one dats fucked up..
**whoops I spoke too soon....it seems the error pops up whenever I use the unren tool...I can`t get the console and play the game at the same time:FeelsBadMan:
I can't figure this out either. You are supposed to open it in the game correct?

yeah...I also did that as an alternative to using unren (this bugger ruins the game install and causes error for THIS game which totally sucks ass)

This game had so much potential. Great art work, nice story........ but it is so difficult to navigate. You end up wandering around aimlessly if you miss something.

Did you restart game? In order to change take effect, you must restart the game.

You can skip the card minigame by clicking on the couple of books stacked on the right side of the monitor, it gives you $100 per click. I'm not sure if has a limit per day, but I clicked 4 times and I got $400 which is more than we would get by playing the minigame anyway, so my guess is that is unlimited. *only found out about this after I finished the game, this info is on the dev walkthrough*
As for the time, I don't mind having the events far apart, but I wish that was a button to skip a day or the very least to change between morning/noon/night.

unren causes problems in some games when duplicate files are detected. If you extract the rpa's, simply take each .rpa and move to a different directory not accessible by the game

enable console via unren and hit {SHIFT} + {O}, but you need the variable viewer so you will need {SHIFT} + {D} (i think)
