Is the Patch with this download already applied or does it need to be applied manually? Its not mentioned here so i thought i would ask beforehand.

Might not sound like it, but Atelier Sakura actually do have pretty decent storylines in their NTR games.

What I find off-putting about Atelier Sakura games is the pervasive feeling of genericness and the focus on the sex. A glance at the CG even shows this: you've got a bunch of HCG, all on a background that might as well be blank, and nothing interesting happening. I'm more interested in drama and suspense.
Yeah.. their games aren't really that good. They never have been but it seems to work for them so barely any innovation happens.

Same here. Had quite a few japanese games with similar problems. My advice: delete and move on. Never seen anybody solving these problems. It's apparently only playable for Japanese. But why is it on a platform for English players? Frustrating, somehow.
P.S.: Tried the emulator "Barking at the Moon" (#36) suggested, still not working. Sorry, not worth the trouble.

Locale emulator is needed, here's a link. There are others out there. Install, open the game using the emulator and run in Japanese.

I always have set my PC to japanese locale so you dont need always a locale emulator if you change your system to japanese it works most of the time
