That is honestly a bonus. You're better off keeping it that way. NTR especiacally will make people lose their shit faster than anything else you can do. Just look at the games that have it on this forum.
I actually had to just look up what NTR actually is lol. I doubt I'm ever going to go all in and make a game about cheating. Just not my thing.

I am stuck at Mira's 2nd Clue where it tells me to talk to one of the guards. I talked to both but they are telling me same thing over and over and they don't tell me where she is. Anybody know the sollution?

Sir Strechalot is a nice game so far. I just wished we had a little more "freedom", because right now it feels like a visual novel made with the wrong engine (RPGM instead of Ren'Py).

Little problem on my end: the game crashed 3x times (compressed version).

Are you not able to enter the Queen's hall as well? If so, then it's a bug on the older versions. Grab the latest version and it should let you go into the hall and find the guard you need to talk to.

You can use your saves from the old version. Just grab the Saves folder from the WWW folder and paste that into the same spot in the new version.

Sir Strechalot is a nice game so far. I just wished we had a little more "freedom", because right now it feels like a visual novel made with the wrong engine (RPGM instead of Ren'Py).

Little problem on my end: the game crashed 3x times (compressed version).

Next game is going to be less wordy and have more freedom.

These first two games are me having fun with linear stories and cutscenes. The next game is going to be a lot more open, I think. I want to create different hubs that players can go to and do different quests/activities that will likely lead to lewd content.

Sorry about the crashes. Did they happen at the same spot? Also, I'm not really sure what you mean by "compressed version".

I wasn't playing previous versions of the game. I downloaded the latest one yesterday and haven't found sollution since then. When I try to enter Queen hall it says "I don't need to go here just now".

I'm about to go to bed, but could you zip up your save folder and give it to me? I'll check it out first thing in the morning.

That really shouldn't be happening in the newer 1.3 version, so that's very weird.

That really shouldn't be happening in the newer 1.3 version, so that's very weird.

Mr. Dev, you have no business being this mature and interested in criticism. I really look forward to your future projects. One thing I'll say is that overall length does not make a good game, engaging content (not just porn), and enjoyable gameplay is what keeps people interested. Fun but not abusive puzzles, an open map full of exploration and secrets, rewarding content that requires effort to reach, and finding that perfect balance of dialogue content and visual content. Two games that I think are great to compare when it comes to these topics is Town of Passion and Dandy Boy Adventures. ToP is an all time great. It has fantastic character design, comfortably paced and easy to consume non-porn content, and when it's time to reward you it does and it does it well. DBA on the other hand is kind of grating. Its porn content is high quality, and its character design and art direction is awesome, the problem is that your rewards come infrequently and require a ton of work. Too much work. Hours spent running back and forth in the map alone. It's all about that balance. You can't starve your players or make them bored and miserable but you don't want to just dump porn on them either. If you haven't yet I would suggest trying out some JP games from developers like Double Melon, Dojin Otome, and dare I say it Sakuragi Company. That's the balance I think people are looking for. Also, for me, if you could add lots of fun little secrets, voyeur opportunities, hidden mini scenes, and just the little tidbits for in between.

Keep up the hard work! You have more skill and talent than 95% of the guys slowly grinding out Ren'Py VNs.

Glad I didn't have to spend money on this. Imagine blahblahblah all the timeeven if somewhat funny and then combat where you can't level up for. Its ok just let the elf cutie suck them off. Honestly first battle the enemies have 880 hp combined vs your 250ish? Limit yourself to art which is good, writing as well because gameplay is not your forte.

Thanks for the feedback, mate.

Looks like I had Ella's panties mixed up with the queen's during that scene. Will be fixed in a later update.

The bug where the snake ruined a cutscene . . . I'm not sure how that happened as there's things in place to prevent that: enemies get respawned at their original locations when starting a scene. You said northern bandits. Was it the gang of drunk bandits you encounter?

Not too sure about the crashes. Maybe I'm using too many plugins or something. I'll need to try and trim things down a bit going further.

The one that got away reference at the start was because it was a flashback. That scene replays at the end of the game as well.

I'm adding the help section to the very start of a new game so that people will know about the speed up functions and other things.

Sounds like the branching dialog probably isn't what people want. It is a lot easier to keep it more linear like in Wenches in the Well.

Good point about the boobs. More boobs going forward. I think other than the scene with the queen, you don't even see boobs.

It took me a bit to duplicate, but it is still in version 1.4. The snake does get reset to its original location, but it still has x number of seconds of chasing the player before giving up. If I just walk past the snake so that it gets further up before triggering the cutscene, it gives up before getting behind the player. If I run past the snake like in the video, when the snake's position resets, it still has enough chase time to get behind the player and softlock the game.

I'm totally fine with a long game and branching dialog. I don't mind a short game and linear content either, so whatever combination you feel like.
I didn't read the instructions until near the end of the game to find out how to skip ('ctrl' is a pretty common one, but wasn't how this one worked).
Something to keep in mind for future games if you do have branching dialog: for replaying purposes, unless you add a backlog of previous text, it'd be nice if any new text is after a choice or something that will block the skipping so that I don't accidentally miss something new.

As others have said, having a bit more CG throughout the story would help easy any frustration with the length of the story as well. I enjoyed the humor in the writing, so that helped me get through, and I don't mind a bit of tease either. It's all a balancing act.

I can make an option to toggle dash. I'll add it to this game in an update. Just to clarify, do you mean so you turn it on in the options somewhere? Or that instead of holding it, the dash key is the toggle?
Ahh, good question. I know RPGM enables dash via a key press and also there being a toggle in the menu for 'always dash'. What I meant was that menu option to always enable dash.

Just keep in mind, the stealth section will be a bit easier with dash enabled. I found the timing to avoid detection at the normal movement speed was fairly narrow, doubling the movement speed would make it more trivial. I would make sure to test that section with dash enabled and see if it still feels right.

Thanks for the kind words, and the feedback.

I'll definitely be looking to hit a better balance in my next game. People were asking for something longer, and I thought that was the way to go, but I honestly write better when I'm writing shorter.

Next game I'm planning something a lot more open and I'm going to be trying to address all your criticisms, as they're the same thing a few people have said now.

I'll aim to be less wordy and more too the porn in game 3. Will be trying to work a lot more on the combat and general gameplay as well. Sorry you didn't enjoy this one, mate, but thanks for giving it a crack anyway.

Not sure what's causing ram issues. I'll have to look into it.

I can't really turn that PreloaderCore plugin off, but I'll see if I can find alternatives.

Man, thanks for taking the time to make that video. I see what's happening now. Enemies are set to chase players for 300 frames when spotting them. In this case, the snake is respawning, but is still in chase mode, and it's able to get back to the player in less than 300 frames because it's spawn point is too close to that cutscene. I reduced the chase time for that particular snake and it seems to fix it.

Also, I saw in your video I was missing a sprite tile on the forest to the left of that snake lol. Not sure how I missed that.

Will make the instructions show at the start of the game so people don't have to go looking.

And will try and find a better balance. I probably hit it better in game 1 as it was shorter.

Gotcha. I'll look into it and make sure it's still fine in that stealth section. Maybe I can disable dashing in areas like that if I need to.
