Damn Doc I just priced getting a new computer with Ryzon 9 7900, a motherboard, a 1600psu(only psu with the new thing for the 40series at Micro center near me) plus the DDr5 (64GB) and just those three parts the prices is over $2,000 or if that is amd who is always cheaper than intel dear Uncle Buck I don't want to think about what Intel is going to ask for their new cpus.

If you're interested in using DAZ I would recommend Intel. Well I have a Ryzen 3700x and DAZ worked fine the only thing slowing me down was my GTX960

If your GPU craps out AMD CPUS run DAZ better than Intel
AMD only has the disadvantage with their GPUs because IRAY is Nvidia and will not work with AMD GPUs
So maybe that is what crossed your wires??

Blender does make full use of AMD GPUs so if you already have those get the DAZ to Blender bridge and use Blender
