That's just it right? You don't always know how people think. People think differently and they have their own reasons for feeling that way. Some are conscious, but most reasons are subconscious. I'll say that I hate it because it is the antithesis of what I look for in VN's. In most things, porn included, you are looking for something that excites you. In my case, I look for a well told story with characters and decent mix of porn and story. (If i wanted ONLY porn i'd watch porn) Others have higher thresholds for kinks and some have lower ones. Same reason why vanilla sex is enough for most. Some find other things that delve into the extremes. However, somethings go against what they are looking for. Personally, I like well made romance stories. I can overlook some moral deficiencies such as peeking/sleep groping/stealing panties and manipulation, but things that affect your immersion such as NTR and Rape can very negatively affect those that experience it. It's like the trope of the robot integrating with another piece of technology and unintentionally shocked by a jolt of electricity. Even though you may be fine, something has scrambled your brain, and it sucks. It makes you angry and furious even though it's fiction.
Some people are scared of flying on airplanes even though they are safer than cars. Some things are just Irrational.
