Although I must say some VN's do bring up things I never dealt with of thought of, which is another reason I find VN's helpful in some aspect as much as traumatic in other ways... Why some VN's that make it as it it's a nothing issue do piss me off, love to see a good ending where the husband kills the wife and the guys she cheat with as a great ending....

Many Games has slow or slower progress.Sometimes if you love the game it's frustrating. I would love games day one complete or monthly big updates, but this isn't the point. The worst is when abandoned completely. I understand for most developers it isn't their main job.Many games are completely free. There are projects completed after years. How many people play visual novels? How many play porn VN? How many play NTR or other extreme fetish VN? How many actual pay? That's the point. You can't do much, only support the developers. As you said if a development is a scam then supporters will leave. You can also make your own project(I would love to make one if i knew) but I don't think is very easy or fun.

Sounds to me like you came in and played 1 route and don't really understand the complexity of the different routes this game has. After the last update I had to play through several times to get to see all of the new scenes., I remember after the hotel visit was released the following update I stumbled across the morning after shower scene that I had missed but you sound like you only want 1 route so probably this game is not for you
